We are thrilled with the fabulous service we received from Rob Sprague at Edge Photography. He has the level of professionalism that we hoped to find in a wedding photographer.
It was difficult to select a photographer from so many at the Grand Rapids Wedding Expo. Most of the others were overpriced and pushy; offering 'packages' that included services that didn't interest us. Rob was able to review our wish list and tailor a package to suit our needs perfectly.
We like 'attention to detail', and good customer service. Rob was able to meet with us on our schedule, returned our calls and emails promptly, and delivered our proofs via the Internet when promised. He made us feel important, which gave us confidence in his work. We knew that we made the right choice after the first meeting with him.
So he is a great guy, professional, well organized and super nice. These are all qualities that we imagined were the most important aspects of our wedding photographer… until we saw the photos.
We are not fashion models. We are older than most couples getting married, and were self-conscious about how we looked. During our engagement sessions, Rob followed us to our special places to take pictures of us in our favorite locations. He made us feel completely at ease and took the time to use the correct lenses and lighting techniques to get the most out of every shot. He made suggestions to capture each moment in a unique way, and did some very creative photos using props like our wedding bands. It was no surprise that the photos were more beautiful than we ever could have expected!
Rob doesn’t ‘doctor’ his photos. He doesn’t need to. His expertise is evident in every picture. The clean lines, vivid color, amazing contrast and creativity are the perfect combination of technical expertise and artistry.
