Excellent menu variety, great appetizer selections and beautiful presentation. The owner ,Yoel, is a true professional , very nice and understands how to communicate with his customer well. Perfect choice for any occasion large or small. I would suggest maximum personnel: guest ratio for a large affair.

Dushez is a kosher caterer run by Yoel Konstantine and his wife out of Hebrew College. He runs the Hebrew College kitchen and also does events in his spare time. Dushez catered our 185-person July wedding in Brookline and we couldn't have been more thrilled with his work. He came in significantly cheaper than Andrew's, and we were totally sold during the tasting. We went with an Israeli-themed meat wedding, complete with passed appetizers and a fun deli spread to start, followed by dinner of falafel, schawarma, dozens of salads, great breads, etc, then dessert bar of fruit, ices, cobbler, and chocolate-dipped strawberries. We were worried about dessert with a meat meal, but really everything was great, and Yoel gave us great suggestions for making the meal work.

Yoel was flexible throughout the planning, working with us to find a menu we liked at a price that worked for us. He went out of the way to make the whole weekend easy for us; our rehearsal dinner was held at another venue where we were having pizza delivered. Yoel connected us with two of his staff members to help us set up, serve, and clean up even though he wasn't catering the event, and when we started to struggle with the venue's coordinator, offered to call on our behalf to sort out the confusion (again, all this even though he wasn't even catering that night!).

The day of our wedding, Yoel rolled with the punches as things changed, making things easy for us. He was pleasant to work with, and our friends are still raving about the food, especially the delicious Moroccan meat cigars as appetizers that one friend said are his new favorite food! We would highly recommend Dushez as a wedding caterer to anyone in the Boston area!

My husband comes from a large conservative Jewish family, and weddings are a regularly occurrence. His folks are familiar with kosher catering, and after our wedding, we received many compliments from them about the food. Our best man even said, "This was the best kosher catering I've had!" Yoel and his wife were extremely professional and concerned about doing things right.

We had met with other caterers who were a little more warm and fuzzy in their negotiating style, but ultimately the tasting with Dushez sealed the deal. The food was above and beyond what I had imagined, and there was clearly a great deal of care and thought that went into every detail. The value was also great.
