When we first started planning our wedding, I did what most couples do and began by contacting the catering companies on our venue’s preferred vendor list. But after several conversations, I was honestly underwhelmed. The follow-through, response times, and overall creativity just didn’t match what we were hoping for. I wanted a team that felt as excited and invested in our vision as we were. That’s when I decided to expand my search beyond the list, and I am so glad I did.

From the very first phone call, Danielle completely changed the tone of the experience. She was professional, warm, and incredibly organized, and I knew right away we had found our team. She took the time to really listen to what we wanted, asked all the right questions, and made me feel confident and cared for from day one.

From there, Amby took the reins and truly brought everything to life. She was a joy to work with, responsive, attentive to detail, and endlessly creative. Every menu suggestion she made showed thoughtfulness and flair, and she went above and beyond to make sure everything was seamless. On the day of the wedding, the food was absolutely phenomenal—beautifully presented, perfectly executed, and full of flavor. We’re still hearing from guests about how incredible the meal was, and trust me, they mean it!

It's hard to pick where to begin with Johnny Burke Catering. They have a standard they adhere to and it is far and away the best you'll find. From the very beginning, Johnny, Danielle and their team helped our wedding exceed all of our expectations. The food, from the tasting to the cocktail hour to the wedding reception and finally to the late night was excellent. The quality of ingredients, preparation and presentation sets them apart from competitors.

The communication and attentiveness you'll receive is both friendly and professional. In the middle of our engagement, my wife and I moved to another state for work and what was a chaotic moment for us, Johnny and Danielle were there every step of the way.

To all those involved in the day of operations...wow. We couldn't have been more impressed and pleased with how our venue looked, how our guests were greeted and how seamlessly the food and drink was served and poured. Catering a wedding for 150 is not easy but this crew not only crushed it, they did it with a smile the whole time.

My husband, our guests, and I all agree that Johnny Burke was fantastic to work with. I was really surprised with how good the food was. I have never before left a wedding saying that food was delicious. Their service was top notch not just on the day of our wedding, but in every detail leading up to it. I particularly appreciated that this a full service caterer. They arranged everything from rentals (tent, dance floor, linens, etc), to setting up tables, service, and food. I highly recommend this company.

What can I say about Johnny? He's professional, organized, easy going and an excellent chef! Like many 2020 couples, our original wedding plans had to change last minute and we were faced with planning a brand new wedding in a couple month's time. We had to find completely new vendors as our wedding location changed states, but lucky for us we found Johnny. We immediately knew we were in good hands after our first phone call with him. He was easy to talk to, understanding of our situation and budget, listened to our vision, our likes and dislikes, offered COVID friendly services and strategies, and helped layout a plan that alleviated much of the stress we were feeling. Not only did he come up with an AMAZING menu, but he took care of all the rentals we needed for our intimate wedding. Everyone at our wedding couldn't stop talking about how good the food was, the beautiful presentation of the food and the excellent service provided by Johnny's team. I really can't recommend Johnny Burke enough. I would hire him for another event in a heartbeat and I know everything would be executed to the highest standard and we would enjoy the planning process with him. Thank you Johnny and team!

I highly recommend Johnny Burke catering. Last spring my son announced he was getting married and wanted to have the celebration at our house. Great idea but life is very busy and the thought of doing it on my own seemed daunting. I had been disappointed in the past from other local caterers. It really takes away from the experience when you have to stay on top of all the details. My son had told me about an amazing party he had attended catered by Johnnie. We e-mailed him about the event. He called back to talk about the details including our food likes and expectations. He sent us a menu the next day, set up an appointment for someone to visit our house and make a plan to create what I imagined. They arrived on time! Set up the house, cooked the food which was fantastic. They cleaned up everything!

Staff was busy from the moment they arrived. They never engaged in personal conversations with guests, which I really appreciated. They were definitely there to create a party for us. Johnny knows what service means. I was so pleased to attend the party. I felt like a guest!

Hands down the most memorable experience because of Johnny and him team!!! The food was incredible...as in mouth watering with the most unique menu. We told Johnny some of our favorite foods and he came back with the perfect menu and blend of taste!!! The service was 5-star with the utmost professionalism while bringing that “we’ve known you forever” feel. We will be planning another party with Johnny!
