On our wedding day, we had two photographers and two videographers, with Mike as our main photographer, and they were all phenomenal. Every single person on the team was so professional, friendly, and made us feel completely at ease.

All of our guests commented on how sweet and hardworking the photo and video team was, and it truly showed in the final results. Our engagement shoot and wedding photos both came out incredible, beyond anything we could’ve hoped for. One of the best decisions we made when planning our wedding was choosing duet. They exceeded our expectations in every way. They were things that we didn’t remember or didn’t see that they were able to capture and are so grateful for. If you’re thinking about booking Duet, don’t think, just do. We were first interested in meeting with Duet because their work seemed so classic - no extra filters, no overdone edits, etc., just quality photography. Once we actually met with them in person, we were sold instantly. While their work speaks for itself, their professionalism, friendliness, and attention to detail really takes them to the next level.

As a true Type A person, I had my own timeline, schedule, and notes; and the team was so wonderful in working with me to make sure they were aligned and talk through any sort of confusion for a super smooth wedding day.

The day of the wedding, they were absolutely amazing - start to finish. From moving the dining room table at my house for the perfect shot, to getting every single photo on my shot list, and making my husband and I feel comfortable. Truly, they were just so refreshing to work with.

Duet photographed my wedding on 11/28/25 and also did my engagement photoshoot. They were amazing to work with. They were very kind, professional and easy to work with. They helped walk me through making a day of scheduling for how photos would be taken and how the day would run. They helped make the day run smooth and with less stress. My edited photos came back quicker than expected and looked so beautiful. I would recommend any one to use them for their wedding or any other photography needs.

Run don't walk to Duet for your photography and videography needs. Hanel and his team are consummate professionals. We were married at the Watermill in Smithtown and our church ceremony was in Westbury NY. His team captured our special moments in ways we didn't think were imaginable. Our hearts melted when we received our pictures and wedding video. I would recommend them to all my family and friends and to whoever comes across this review. Prices are great and communication from first inquiry to follow ups are fast and easy. This company is the standard. If we could do it all over again we would just to use Duet again. I can’t say enough wonderful things about Duet. We booked them for both photography and videography for our wedding at The Mansion at Timber Point, as well as for our engagement photos in Central Park.
