Something I didn't really realize at the time of booking: your photo/video crew is with you ALL DAY. Having Derek and his assistant with us just made the day so much better- we had FUN! Derek is so professional and does such beautiful work that we were really able to relax and leave it in his hands. The best part- his style and work is so high quality, but you never feel stifled like you're on a movie set. We were laughing, having fun, and so comfortable! Having Derek there actually made the day better.
When our photographer stepped away, he switched from video to photo just to make sure not a single moment was missed. I am eternally grateful for that. He has extensive knowledge and experience with weddings, and it really shows. If you don't really know how to be in front of the camera, he's great with helping you feel comfortable and choreographing scenes- without anything ever feeling forced or fake.
A true visionary, he captured the most dreamiest angles with a truly electrifying perspective. Everything just felt seamless.

I don't have enough words to describe how absolutely PHENOMENAL Derek and his team are! I chose Derek because I had worked with him at a previous wedding as a bridesmaid. I loved how he treated everyone on the wedding day and when I saw their wedding video I was sold. As a bride, I was even more happy with everything that Derek did for us! His communication from the day I booked with him until I got my videos, was perfect! On the wedding day his team showed up and both my husband and I said the videographers we had were so easy to work with! Derek captured everything we wanted! Even an extra special shot that my husband thought was cool, Derek was able to capture and include! We received all of our toasts, ceremony, a highlight video, and a teaser! Derek and his team are an easy decision when trying to pick a videographer! I would work with him again tomorrow and definitely recommend him to anyone who asks!

The package we purchased included the option for an engagement session which was a great way for him to get to know us prior to the wedding. Also in our package was the use of his drone for both the engagement shoot and our wedding day - WOW! Such great aerial shots and video!

Leading up to the wedding Derek was very professional and organized, giving us tips for being relaxed on our wedding day to get the best photos possible. When the big day arrived, he and his team were so fun yet professional - they all dressed super sharp! We also hired Derek’s company, The SLO Photo Booth, which was great fun during the reception.

The big day came and went, and about 8 weeks post-wedding we received a very professional website with all digital photos (ability to download) with the option to purchase prints and keepsakes directly from Derek’s site. Super convenient!

And WOW! His finished product was stunning! Derek really knows how to capture moments. our biggest shock of amazement was when we received our wedding video. AMAZING doesn’t even do justice to describe it! Our videography package included a video book that auto-plays the 8 minute long video. We keep it on our coffee table and watch it often.

Derek is very fun loving and easy to work with. We can’t thank him enough for his beautiful work! I would highly recommend working with him on your big day!

Derek immediately put us at ease on our wedding day! He was our favorite vendor by far and followed our requests and timeline to a T! He was professional, patient with our guests, and captured our day perfectly. His services for photo and video were a phenomenal value.
