Katy has always had passion for lettering and design; but, it wasn't until planning her own wedding that she fell in love with modern calligraphy. Studying graphic design and literature at The University of Texas at Dallas, Katy's skill turned from hobby to passion. Seeking inspiration from romantic literature, Katy's calligraphy blossomed into a whimsical, and organic style that is ever so complimenting to wedding paper. From invitations to envelopes, from stationery to signage, from ink to chalk, Katy finds joy in turning the simplest wedding elements into charming details your guests are as sure to remember as are you to cherish.

Dove House Handmade's home base is Dallas, TX; but, we have worked with brides all over the country, and even a few across the pond.
