We had Double Barrel BBQ catered for our wedding and not only was the food delicious, but the staff was great to work with! We primarily coordinated with Andrea leading up to the event. She was always quick to respond and seemed to take it in stride the couple of times we ended up making changes. Actually her prompt responses was what sold me on using them because other places would take a week to a month even with one place to respond. not what I wanted as a wedding vendor! The server at the event was also very personable, chatting with guests as they got their food. Guests were raving about the food and we had multiple people go for seconds, myself included! It was a great choice and would definitely recommend as a catering service! A heads up though, their BBQ is spicy if you don’t like spice but anyone I talked to from our wedding loved it!

The food and service was great at our wedding so I would highly recommend Double Barrel BBQ! My (now) husband discovered them because they had catered an event at his work and he loved their food both then and at our wedding. All of our guests were thrilled with the food as well. They were also great about providing ingredient info for each dish when I asked for it, so that we could ensure our guests with dietary restrictions would have enough options. I'm not a meat-eater myself but there were plenty of other delicious options for me (and the other non meat-eaters) to enjoy!

After the event we had a bit of a misunderstanding about the gratuity, but the whole thing turned out to just be miscommunication between multiple parties and not the fault of Double Barrel BBQ or anyone else in particular. I would like to thank Jim (the owner) for taking the time to listen to and thoroughly address my concerns when I raised them and hearing his version of events enabled us to quickly come to a solution. Double Barrel's business model and customer service shows that they really do care about customer satisfaction and are always striving to improve wherever they can. Great service during our wedding AND customer service after the fact!

In summary, if you want great food and excellent service at your event, hire Double Barrel! You will not be disappointed.

Amazing!!! Great prices, even better service, and the food was to die for. My family is Texan and has some very high standards when it comes to barbecue and they absolutely loved the food. If you want barbecue for your wedding, don't waste your time tasting with anyone else - book these guys first.

Booking Double Barrel was one of the best decisions my husband and I made during our entire wedding planning process. The office staff was incredibly responsive and professional, they really put us at ease and reduced our stress as much as possible.

On the day of our wedding, the staff arrived on time and were very professional. From set up to clean up, everything went so smoothly. Our guests absolutely loved it! Several people told us it was the best BBQ they had ever had and even more told us that it was the best food they'd ever had at a wedding! And they were super affordable-- very, very worth the price. They were truly full service, they brought tables, linens, etc so there was nothing for us to worry about. We chose to do our own plates rather than their paper ones, and they were easily able to accommodate this.

Bottom line is definitely book Double Barrel! They are amazing!!!

SERIOUSLY DELISH BBQ here people!!! We used Double Barrel BBQ to cater our weekend-long wedding on San Juan Island. They went above and beyond in the quality of food + service. Literally EVERY single person (135ppl) at our wedding RAVED about the food both during and loooong after the reception. My husband and I enjoyed the leftovers for many days afterwards, too!!!
We started our correspondence with Double Barrel by setting up a tasting out at the Sedro-Wooley location. The team is incredibly warm, friendly, and talkative. The tasting was fantastic and really helped us decide on what to order. The receptionist was always prompt in her communication in the months leading up to our wedding. I especially appreciated that they didn't charge us too much extra for the ferry ride out to San Juan Island - it's those little things that really stick with you in the long run! The catering team arrived and set up with tons of time to spare, the food was hot and ready for the reception, and as promised they packed up all the leftovers for us. The price is truly incredible for the quality you get, I look forward to using Double Barrel again in the future!!!

Truly good food, we have only heard good things from our guests. The servers were polite and professional I never heard anyone that had a problem.
Really a great place to choose from and no worrying about renting dishware if you don't mind paper plates! No one will remember what they ate off of, but they will remember what they ate!

During our search for wedding catering, we were lucky enough to find Jim and Double Barrel BBQ. From the beginning he assured us that everything would be taken care of by him and his staff. Jim is a man of his word. His crew arrived early, looked and acted professional, and was very attentive throughout our wedding dinner. The staff even walked around the tables and talked to the guests making sure everything was fine and helped bus the plates. For all couples worried about bbq as a wedding dinner, there's no need to hesitate with Double Barrel. We had the smoked prime rib and salmon with chicken, pulled pork, and portabella mushrooms for the vegetarians. For sides we had mashed potatoes, baked potato salad, vegetables, mac and cheese, caesar salad, and cornbread. Throughout the evening and even days later, our guests commented on how it was the best wedding food they had ever had and asked who catered our wedding. Everyone went back for seconds, and some people even took home doggy bags. I would highly recommend using Double Barrel for any special event. The food and service was top notch and the cost was half of what other fancy caterers would have charged for lesser, bland meals. Thank you, Jim and Dina. You helped to make our wedding spectacular.

We couldn't be more happy with how our wedding dinner turned out. We chose the smoked chicken and pulled pork, and both were delicious. The service was excellent and we heard from several of our guests that it was the best wedding meal they'd ever had. They even packed up our extra food for us to take home.
