I found Domenica Beauty online through the amazing reviews posted. I needed a hair and makeup resource for me (the mother of the groom) and four other ladies attending my son’s wedding. I liked the services Domenica offered, her techniques (as described in the reviews and on her site) and the fact she didn’t have ONE style. Her approach was very personalized and she worked to meet the client’s needs and specific age, hair and face types. I reached out through Domenica’s website and she quickly responded. I obtained pricing (which was very fair and in-line with the other San Diego hair & makeup vendors). We signed an agreement and her communications, invoicing and payment terms were fair and nicely executed. The day before our actual appointment, the bride’s hair vendor couldn’t make it. Domenica tackled this problem quickly and professionally – calling in resources to ensure she could help us out with this last-minute issue. I was so grateful that she was able to make this work (as was the bride!). Each and every person who was attended to by Domenica and her amazing makeup person Jen, was blown away by how they looked, how the team listened to what they wanted (and what they didn’t want) and each one felt beautiful (compliments were given from everyone at the event about how we looked). I am not usually one to leave reviews but in this case I feel like I absolutely have to. The ladies at Domenica Beauty saved me! I had contracted hair and make up long before my wedding with another vendor. They ended up being completely unprofessional and ghosted my emails/calls leaving me to scramble to find someone 10 days before my wedding. Thankfully my wedding coordinator sent me to Domenica Beauty and we signed a contract that day. I was able to schedule a trial with Jen and Griselda and they were so kind and fun and I immediately felt at ease. They nailed the look I was going for. The day of my wedding everything flowed perfectly and I kept receiving compliments about how I still looked like myself, which I appreciated because I don’t like my makeup being too heavy. My mom and bridesmaids were also very impressed by how natural but done up they all looked. Jen is an amazing makeup artist! And Griselda achieved the exact look I wanted on all of my bridesmaids and my hair had such amazing volume all night! I really was so happy with how everything turned out. We all felt so beautiful and I am so thankful for Domenica Beauty for jumping in and saving the day!

Domenica and her team have been very supportive during this covid time! I was unable to use her services for my wedding due to covid restrictions but she helped me have the bridal shower of my dreams by finding a team last minute to do my hair and makeup.
