This sounds a little out of the ordinary, but I was on a very tight budget and one of the over-booked and over-priced tradtional reception halls told me about this travel company. Yes, they are a travel company, but the building that they are located in also has a large room with a kitchen and bathrooms for things such as weddings and conferences. The women that I coordinated everything with was Evelyn and she is great. She informed me that I could rent tables, chairs, tableclothes, and a bar right through her for way cheaper than having someone bring them in. She also told me that when I rented the room I got it for the whole day, not just part of the day like most places. She went out of her way to make everything perfect for us, including she bussed my tables, was available for the cake delivery, tended the gift table and also helped load all the gifts at the end of the night. Oh, I also forgot to mention that they have their own private parking lot for guests.
