My experience with Mitten Housing was deeply troubling, and I feel that race may have played a significant role in how I was treated. Despite being fully up to date on my payments and having no plans to leave, I was suddenly threatened with eviction via a text message, without any legitimate reason.

When I posted a review about this inappropriate behavior, their staff publicly attacked me in response, which was highly unprofessional. They even went so far as to falsely accuse me of harassment, despite me having no prior knowledge of or contact with any staff before filing my complaints.

This use of threats, intimidation, and public shaming is unacceptable, and it raises serious concerns about their compliance with housing laws and potential discriminatory practices. I would strongly caution anyone considering renting with Mitten Housing to think twice before engaging with a company that treats tenants in such a manner.
