We miraculously hired DJ Nate Slate just 10 days before our wedding (after our previous DJ went awol) and it was the BEST decision. DJ Nate is not only a great human being but excels at DJing and MCing. He listens to what you want, makes great suggestions without overstepping and MC's the perfect amount where it's effective but does not feel like you're at a baseball game. He reads the room well and knows how to keep the dance floor alive. Sooo many of our guests still talk about how great the music was at our wedding.

First with the limited direction that we provided ( we were overwhelmed with all the other planning) Nate took it on himself to draft up all the recommendations for songs and then talk us through and get our feedback on what would work. Second, He sacrificed attending an important personal family activity because he had made a commitment to us and wanted to uphold that. He kept to our requests around music preferences that may not be as mainstream and yet still found songs and artists that had our guests dancing all night long.

Nate DJ'd our wedding last weekend and killed it. The dance floor was packed and active from the end of dinner until the last song--and then the crowd demanded he keep going with a few more party songs, and he killed those too! Nate was willing to work really closely with us to make sure we had exactly what we wanted for every part of the wedding, from the pre-ceremony playlist to the cake cutting. We got so many compliments on our music, and it's all thanks to Nate.
