Loren and his team were very accommodating, reasonably priced, adaptable/ flexible, and made the all the music portions for the wedding easy.

Loren was very responsive through the whole process whether it was via email or text. He responded within a day/or the next. He provided an online form to fill out which provided a great reference point to fill in throughout the wedding search journey. In addition, he gave lists of song suggestions when we were stumped.

On the wedding day, Loren and his team arrived on time. They checked in with us days before, and day of. He was able to get us to decide on a Mother & Son song the night before the wedding , and squeeze in when it was best to do so. We planned for it after First Dance but the atmosphere proved it would be better later (ppl were hyped for Table Dash). Thankfully, he’s able to read the room and announced their dance right before speeches. Loren is able to follow instructions as well as improvise.

He’s also at average price within the Hudson Valley. We decided on the basic standard level. He provided (extra?) lighting inside the venue that backdrops on the sides of the walls. Other free services he provided was giving the mic to the officiant (in addition to all the ceremony music), and gave out fiber optic wands to the guests during reception (I provided my own wands but he offers that package too). He’s also willing to work on a payment plan.

Overall, I really recommend him and his team. They made it really easy for the wedding day which is what’s needed, one less thing to worry about. Plus, he was very responsive, giving assurance, and lowered my anxiety.

Loren took the time to see the outdoor private venue and made adjustments to suite our needs. Loren was great with communication, providing excellent service and making sure we had what we needed. Loren and his assistant weren't not pushy, were not in our faces but made sure everything ran smoothly. I would highly recommend Loren for any event!

Loren and his MC Jimmy we’re absolutely AMAZING for our wedding! From ceremony to reception the music was perfect. He helped with song suggestions for both ceremony and reception, was quick to hop on calls with us if we had any questions. They kept the crowd going all night. We received so many compliments from friends and family on how great the DJ was and we can’t thank you enough!!!

A review that is far overdue but extremely deserved -- Loren was outstanding as our DJ for our wedding!! Loren worked so well with us to accommodate our requests. My husband is Persian and we had each couple dance down the aisle to a different song - Loren was able to do this extremely well and it went seamlessly. He was able to incorporate all of our request- and didn’t even bat an eye when we asked him to add in unfamiliar music. At the reception, Loren was able to adjusts the music so well and keep everyone happy and on the dance floor. He played a variety of music but also remember to play all of our requests. Loren, we are so thankful to you for making our wedding day so incredible - I cannot recommend him enough!!

DJ Loren and team kept us on the floor and making memories the entire evening. We could not have asked for better quality and professionalism. I cannot say enough great things about Loren and Uptown Sounds. His attention to detail, understanding of our ideas/vision and overall experience was amazing. The DJ was amazing. From the first consultation to the very end of our wedding night he was very professional and responsive. He manged to mix in all our favorite artist and songs throughout the night. The music flowed so well and there was always people on the dancefloor. Our wedding guest gave us so many compliments on the DJ. I would absolutely recommend this DJ as well as use him again.
