Music On Move begins with a personalized consultation, where you’ll collaborate with Hobie to create the perfect soundtrack for your special day. You'll have the opportunity to discuss your vision, musical preferences, and event flow. Hobie curates a customized playlist across various genres, including country, R&B, soul, pop, EDM and hip-hop, while also taking guest requests—always respecting your Must Play and Don't Play list.

Beyond DJ and MC services, Music On Move offers a range of additional enhancements, including ceremony and cocktail music, uplighting, active sound, intelligent lighting, photo slideshows (available on TVs or projector and screen), gobo lighting, and more.

Fun and very professional !

We hired Hobie and his wife for my daughter’s quincenaeira along with the Photo Booth. We loved them all!! There is no one better to sit and listen to your plans and make it come to life! I would hire them again for any other party in an instant!

Music on the Move "Don't stop the party "

Hobie with Music on the Move was nothing less than amazing at our daughter's sweet 16. He really listened to everything she wanted before her event during our planning sessions and made all of her dreams come true at the event. He had the dance floor filled all night long and was extremely dedicated to her special evening. Thank you so much for a memorable evening we loved you and couldn't have imagined the evening without you!

A real party!

Hobie was great to work with the entire time. I told him that I really just wanted to have a party and he took that and ran with it. I loved the songs he ended up playing and my family loved the Hispanic song picks. I even asked if he could MC our trivia game and he did an awesome job with that too! (Picture attached)
Considering the price and the service we got I feel like it was a steal! 10/10 would recommend.

Friendly, Professional, SEAMLESS

Music on Move has done two events for me, a fundraiser and my wedding! My experience was a 10/10. Hobie was very professional and accommodating. He was friendly and knew exactly what information to get from me when I was in ‘event planning’ mode. The wedding was seamless thanks to them and everyone was happy! I look forward to working with them again!

The absolute best!

Hobie was incredible! He worked with us during quarantine to plan everything out and work with our budget including a payment plan to offset all of the week-of payment chaos. He also helped us fine-tune our music preferences and gave us worksheets to figure everything out in an organized way. We got more compliments about the music at our wedding than we did about our vows! Haha. He made our day perfect from the romantic ceremony music all the way through to the party where everyone danced all night.

Amazing experience, such professionalism and the entertainment was just what I wanted!

I had had the pleasure of hearing music on the move at several different venues in past years and they always got the atmosphere going. When I decided to get married I called Hobie 1st . I planned a wedding in only 3 weeks and he was right on top of everything for me. He was able to set up my music for the ceremony as well as the reception perfectly with short notice. His MC skill are on point he introduced the wedding party perfectly, set the music for our 1st dance, set time for the speeches, cake cutting (all customized to exactly how I wanted it to happen) and most importantly had my crowd moving and having fun! Music on Move played a huge part in making our wedding day perfect!

So much fun!

They were amazing! I honestly had no idea how to plan the ceremony until Hobie showed me everything. He was extremely helpful and made everything so easy. I did have some specific songs that I wanted him to play during the party and he was able to read the room and played in the perfect moment. I highly recommend them!!!

Amazing DJ service

In addition to being a great DJ, Music on the move was great to work with. They worked with us on every last detail to make sure our wedding day was perfect. Most importantly they kept the party going and the dance floor full. Would absolutely recommend them to any of my friends or family.
