Our photographer suggested Dana to us, who also happened to be the DJ at our wedding coordinator's own wedding, and seeing their faces light up when they talked about him (and hearing how he takes his goats surfing!), we knew he was the right choice and would be an awesome DJ catch.

Despite being warned of the awesomeness, Dana completely blew our expectations away. Dana was always really upbeat in our exchanges and provided me all the information I needed. Although there were forms to fill out, Dana never pressured us to get things in super "on time" and when we couldn't figure out what we wanted our last song to be, he assured me I could tell him "right before the song gets played" if we really wanted to change it (which, hah, I did!).

Speaking to Dana a few days before the wedding, we were again reminded how perfect he would be to DJ at the wedding. We didn't tell him, but Andrew and I had been feeling a little stressed out getting all the design details together and organized, and we rushed in a couple minutes late for our call with Dana. Upon answering the phone, he made a goat sound and we both burst out laughing and immediately felt relaxed! We went over all the details and couldn't wait for the big day.

The ceremony music was perfect, I never had to worry about anything getting set up appropriately, everything seemed seamless! We laughed when we were able to see Dana during our exit from the ceremony for the first time and he gave us an awesome thumbs up - everything felt like he was just going to be part of the party.

Going into the reception - we knew that would be exactly the case. We wanted an upbeat entrance for ourselves and our bridal party and Dana just totally went with it! I am pretty sure we had the whole congregation on their feet for what felt like an hour when we came in. Throughout the whole event, Dana's announcements kept everything super upbeat and people smiling and laughing.

Throughout the night, we enjoyed our check-ins with Dana as he passed around props and kept everyone laughing. When the dance floor finally opened, we couldn't have imagined the song choices could ever be so perfect. We had given him some rough ideas of how we wanted the night to start out with more oldies and end up with some 90s & current jams. Dana seamlessly kept the dance floor packed the entire night! I had so many people come up to me and tell me they hadn't seen a dance floor ever that consistently packed for a wedding. We got a love train AND a soul train going throughout the night, I had multiple friends come up and be like "WHO IS YOUR DJ I WANT TO BE HIM," and Dana came on the dance floor to pass around the microphone so we could sing the lyrics.

Even though from day 1 we knew he'd be the perfect choice, we couldn't have imagined just how awesome it would end up being. I hope to be able to attend a Dana McGregor event in the future. Only regret? I WISH WE BROUGHT THE GOATS (although they might have eaten my dress :] )

Dana was such a fun DJ! We had a blast at our reception and our guests danced all night long! He played a great mix of music, with a little something for everyone. He is more than comfortable behind the mic, kept people laughing and knows how to throw a party! We definitely recommend Dana!

Dana was out of this world. Every single guest at my wedding complimented me on my great DJ find - he was that good at keeping the party going and fostering an epic dance party. Dana and his wing man were hilarious, energetic and FUN. The props they brought were a hit and the music was so good all night. Best DJ, best dance party I've ever seen... no one wanted to leave the dance floor at the end of the night!

Dana MC Gregor was the absolute highlight of our wedding and reception. One of the things I dreamed for our wedding was an unforgettable dance party and Dana exceeded my expectations. He had an organized layout of what songs to play at certain moments (cake cutting, last song before we left, etc.), things I hadn't even thought of so that felt really comforting to know it would all be catered to us! He brought a ton of props that our guests absolutely loved, and it took the dance party to the next level. Some of which was a leaf blower, a bright yellow jumpsuit, moon shoes, and a whole lot more. He was extremely professional and yet hilarious and go with the flow. He followed my husband and I out as we exited, chasing us with the boom box above his head blasting "let's get it on". To me, that was icing on the cake and the perfect way to end an incredible reception. I would recommend him to anyone who wants to celebrate the newly made vows with an awesome, energetic, fun, hilarious dance party. Also as a side note, he was an absolute hit and yet completely still felt like Holt and I were the center of attention and the ones being celebrated! This guy has a true gift!

Dana was awesome! He listened to all of our requests, was super flexible with last minute changes, and was able to feel out the crowd in order to interact and engage with them. He was so much fun, so great to work with and overall an amazing DJ!!!

If you are looking for a DJ that is going to bring the party, Dana is your man! He is absolutely hands down amazing! We found out about his services from our wedding coordinator, who had worked with him before. We new we were in good hands, but didn't realize how much fun was in store for us. He did a really good job of reading the crowd and interacting with them to get everybody engaged. He provided a good balance of playing our requested song list and also adding in gems we had forgotten. Dana is super easy to work with, responsive if you need him and really cares about the work he does. I felt relaxed knowing he was running the show. Two months after our wedding our guests are still asking us how we found our DJ. If you are looking for a night people will remember and are lucky enjoy to get to work with Dana you are in for a treat!

Dana is by far the best DJ we have come across for any event and we are fortunate that he was our DJ for our wedding. Our coordinator, Sealed With A Kiss Events, recommended Dana as she used him for her wedding and we immediately knew why when meeting him. His personality, energy and spirit is amazing and this was just our first meeting to get to know one another! His preparation on the front end leading up to our wedding, making sure we had the right songs lined up, was great.
He played the music we requested and mixed in songs he knew would keep people going and get those that weren’t already dancing involved. Dana has the incredible gift to read people and extend a happy vibe to everyone allowing them to forget everything and just have a great time. Dana and his assistant Matt interact with the crowd, dancing, props, and just keeping the energy at the max. Dana’s MC skills were phenomenal, carrying an air of comedy, excitement while delivering it with a comforting vibe that makes you connect with him.

Everyone, and I mean everyone, told us that Dana was the best DJ they’ve ever experienced and just loved the vibe. We can’t thank him enough for making our day that much more spectacular.

If you don't hire Dana you are totally missing out. This guy knows how to party! As a wedding planner I had him in mind for 4 years and my wedding wouldn't have been the same without him. He is so fun and energetic at every wedding I have done with him -he knows how to get the party started and keep it going even after the bride and groom leave! Really highly recommend Dana as your DJ for any event whether wedding, bar mitzvah, or birthday party.

There are NOT enough words to explain how fabulous a job DJMC did for my daughter's wedding this year! We've been to a LOT of weddings and parties over the years, and NO ONE compares to the energy and joy that these guys can create! There wasn't a guest that was left out of the celebration...they catered to all age groups, and made sure everyone was included. The dance floor was full all the time with everyone laughing and thoroughly enjoying themselves. Plus, they executed all our music and sound needs for the ceremony without a hitch...every detail taken care of meticulously. We had intermittent rain before and during the ceremony...they just rolled with it without making a fuss about their equipment or anything.
