Great music great to work with

Oscar was great. It was a great price and received everything I asked for plus more. I felt that all the music I asked for and specifics for wedding timing was well taken care of. I recommend him for for any event!

Great DJ. He took our suggestions and really ran with them - and got us all dancing. Nobody wanted to leave when it was time for the venue to close for the evening. DJ OG helped make our wedding celebration something special.

Oscar is amazing! He was the DJ at our wedding and he was wonderful! He has great packages to pick and choose from. He helped us pick the right one and was very helpful and communicative all along. He has a portal where you can add all of your wedding details, timeline, songs for the ceremony and song you want to play at the wedding before hand, so when the big day arrives everything is already set and ready. He also brought a photo booth that everyone loved! Oscar is a great guy overall and would definitely recommend him and would love to work with him again in the future!

Oscar was a great wedding DJ! He was very organized as far as equipment goes, and super helpful when it came to deciding on our music selections. The day before the wedding we found ourselves needing to add extra time and equipment to our invoice and he happily did so. He also traveled all the way to San Diego to play for our wedding and provided us a photo booth that was a hit! If you're looking for a DJ that will be on time, is great at communicating, and will play some great tunes, Oscar is the DJ for you! I highly reccomend him.

I had a great experience with Oscar! He was so helpful since the beginning of my wedding planning and would respond so quickly. He answered all questions I had and made my wedding so memorable. I’ve gotten so many compliments on the DJ. Not to mention, he had a huge selection of music to choose from while planning. We all had such a great time, it was perfect!! The Photo booth was so much fun and the prints looked great. I would definitely hire him again for my next event. Highly recommend!!!!

DJ OG is a jack of all trades. He was very quick to respond to our inquiry, communicative through the booking process, and had a well put together website, where we could input all the info about our event (the important people, the schedule, and the song choices- there was even an option to connect our spotify account so we could upload music!)

Oscar provided sound for our outdoor ceremony, sound and lighting for our indoor reception and he provided a photobooth- which was an unmitigated hit. I loved getting an album of all the photostrips after our event.

Oscar was great at getting everyone hyped up and dancing out on the dancefloor, he took requests all night (including but not limited to the Monster Mash, Weird Al, and an impromptu Queen dance number) and he worked well with our outside M.C. We were missing some of our must plays over the course of the night, however, and the transitions between our important songs (grand entrance into first dance, mother/son dance into father/daughter dance etc.) were sometimes faster than we could move to keep up with, and ended a little abruptly.

Overall, we’re very pleased with our choice though. Thank you DJ OG for making our day a party!

DJ OG never took initiative to fulfill minimum expectations of customer service throughout the process (March to November), requiring the Bride and Groom to follow up on multiple instances to ensure that he was not dragging his feet. On one occasion, he justified his slow responses to emails by referencing his numerous jobs, including being a real estate broker and his porta potty rentals. The excuse he made was one that could cause someone to question his commitment level and ownership of his professional reputation.

While he asked us to fill out various surveys, including song requests and playlists, he ignored all of it on the day of the reception, as well as the event timeline set by the day of coordinator.

He arrived in wrinkled jeans and very casual looking dress shirt, which seemed to indicate a lack of professionalism. He played the wrong song for the first dance 2-3 times, even after the bride and groom yelled from across the room which song to play. He failed to make several announcements throughout the ceremony, including the cake cutting and the bouquet toss. His speaker placement hindered a table of wedding guests from hearing their own conversations, and he failed to make adjustments even after someone from the table requested that he lower the speaker volume.

When confronted with a list of unmet expectations post reception, he justified his performance by claiming he was under the weather (which seemed dubious, considering that he A) did not wear a mask and B) did not indicate this before the reception), and said that wedding guests seemed to enjoy dancing and that keeping the photobooth open one hour longer than originally promised justified his rate.

The poor customer service provided, his blatant disregard for our requests and numerous errors during the ceremony, and finally his lack of contriteness, ownership for said mistakes, and unwillingness to make amends should be taken seriously into consideration if you care about staging a memorable event. Find someone else- a teenager with an iPad would have provided better service.
