Loren Kalin is the Director of The Belmont Shore Chalet. He took over the former Lions Club Building of Belmont Shore in 1994. As a former professional ballroom dance competitor, Mr. Kalin has also taught ballroom for many years which has been his passion. This charming, inviting 3 room facility, is where he currently continues to teach ballroom dancing, and proudly host your events for all occasions.

Our facility is charming and unique. Located only steps away from the beach, we can help you plan your beach wedding and host your anniversary, college graduation, or any business or special occasion.

The Chalet can seat up to 150 people. We provide catering services, music, tables, fine linens, and chairs…everything you need to make your event unforgettable.

The Belmont Shore Chalet has done a complete remodeling job on this beautiful intimate facility located across the street from the beach.. There is a separate bar area and a large banquet room with recessed lighting and chandelier. Come view this lovely facility and you will see what the excitement is all about.

Before The Chalet was a banquet facility it was, and still is, a dance center, currently for private ballroom lessons only. We can teach you Ballroom, Salsa, and Bachata.

We provide private ballroom dance lessons for both beginners and advanced dancers.
