WOW where do we begin? Hiring Laura and Dakin was perhaps one of the BEST investments we made for our wedding. From our initial consultation, Laura was so warm and personable and truly listened to the vision we had in mind. We wanted a video that wasn’t just a montage of the two of us, but captured the love and feeling of our friends and family throughout the day. Boy, did they deliver. Laura and Dakin worked seamlessly with the rest of our vendors and captured everything we wanted and more. Their talent and professionalism is unmatched. Communication was easy (hard to find in vendors!!) Their presence day-of was unobtrusive yet comforting, allowing us to just be ourselves and not have to feel awkward in front of the camera. The final product is pure art, a heartfelt look at the most special day of our lives. My husband I live 6 hours away from Direct Light Studios and their service was so amazing we used them for TWO of our daughters weddings! One wedding was out of state and one out of the country!! During preparation for both weddings (2years apart) ,Laura and Dakin were always available for questions we all had. They were several days early to both weddings- securing their own transportation and accommodations- to scope out the areas and be prepared for amazing footage and drone footage. Landmarks, architecture and customs as well as capturing intimate and special moments of the bride and groom made the entire videos special and unique. We have two more daughters to marry off and we will invite Direct Light Studios for those weddings as well! Obviously, we highly recommend them!

They went above and BEYOND to capture so many details and aspects of our relationship. I couldn’t believe the amount of focus, energy and detail that they put into our videos. They made us feel so loved and our videos have all the feels. I can’t recommend them enough!

Laura and Dakin were so easy to work with, and flexible with our busy schedules. We were referred to them by our photographers, who had worked with them before. My husband and I were living in different cities at the time, and they were able to accommodate our needs by meeting with us through video chat, but it didn’t take away from how comfortable we felt with them at all. If anything, it really showed us that they cared about what we are looking for and what we needed. On the day of the wedding, they were in the background mostly, but present to capture every moment. Something that was important to us was that the videographers were able to capture the wedding without clashing with the photographers, and Laura and Dakin were just so professional the entire day. The video they produce was more than we could have asked for, and I’ve watched it over and over to relive our wedding day. Our friends and family have told us that they were so impressed with the quality of their work too! They were some of the best vendors we worked with. You won’t regret working with Laura and Dakin!
