Detroit Glam performed hair and makeup for our wedding, and I could not be happier with this decision. As someone who struggles with wearing makeup, I loved everything about my makeup and hair that day. Carson and Andrea went out of their way to make me (and all the girls) feel special, and I was so relaxed that morning knowing it was going to be just perfect. I knew we were in good hands. Definitely would recommend, they were so sweet, professional, and friendly. What a great team through and through.

I recently had the pleasure of booking Detroit Glam for my wedding day. Carson did an incredible job on all seven people who had their makeup done, and everyone looked stunning. Carson has a way of making every person feel comfortable, was super friendly and professional. She went above and beyond to make sure that every person felt the most beautiful! I even had a friend say that of all weddings she has been in, this was the most favorite makeup she's ever had done... including her own wedding makeup! I would highly recommend Detroit Glam to anyone looking for an awesome experience on their special day.

We had Carson from Detroit Glam do our hair and makeup. She came to our hotel and did the hair and makeup for myself (bride), the MOH, MOB, and MOG. She was friendly and able to give each woman exactly what she wanted as everyone had different hair and makeup requests. It all turned out great!

Jordyn was extremely responsive and helpful throughout the planning process and flexible as we increased the number of hair & makeup services from 6 to 9 and eventually 10 family members and bridesmaids! The two artists who came on our wedding day were right on time and got everyone looking spectacular with enough time to spare and we didn’t feel rushed at all. All 10 of us were so happy that the girls were able to accommodate our very different styles and visions, including some touch ups and my mom redoing her eyebrows 3 times! Not to mention that the girls were fun and easy to talk to, and offered to defend us when the florist showed up and was very rude to me.

I knew I was in good hands with Detroit Glam when I emailed Jordyn Popour asking about a last-minute hair and makeup trial, and she responded immediately and squeezed me in. And then I knew again when I met Morgan Bogdanski, who did my hair and makeup at the trial and on the day of my wedding. Morgan is SO TALENTED and can do just about anything you request, and she's also just so incredibly fun to be around. It seriously felt like she was part of the bridal party, and we had the best time with her. Detroit Glam made me feel like a vision on my wedding day, and I would work with them again in a heartbeat. I can't recommend this team enough.

She came onsite to the MGM Grand Detroit to do my hair and makeup, as well as my Mom’s makeup. She arrived early, got setup and we actually finished an hour ahead of schedule – which was lovely! So relaxed and easy-going!

From the initial email, to the trial, to the big day, Detroit Glam was a dream to work with. My artist, Cara, was so talented. At the trial, she listened to everything I said I was looking for, but also provided feedback and suggestions. After the trial, I had zero worries about my hair and make up the day of. Once I told the owner, Jordyn, how many services were going to be needed the morning of my wedding for my bridesmaids, the moms, and a flower girl, she was able to have an extra person show up so that we didn’t have to start things out at 5am – for such a long day, this was amazing. Once they arrived at the hotel where we were all getting ready, all three women began working right away. Cara kept everything moving so as to keep to the timeline. Everyone’s hair and make-up was flawless and lasted all night. I truly couldn’t have asked for a better company to work with the morning of my wedding.

I booked Detroit Glam after viewing a lot of photos and reviews on The Knot. I went with Jordyn because she doesn’t charge a travel fee to and from Detroit, they use airbrush makeup, and the photos of her work seemed to be nice. First, she is the best e-mail responder ever; I honestly think she responds to 95% of her e-mails within an hour, and probably close to 100% within a day under normal circumstances. She is very clear with pricing and trial information. They only do trials on Sundays at a Salon in West Bloomfield, so I booked super early since I live out of state. I did a trial with Keri (LOVE HER!) and got to know her before the day of the wedding. When the wedding came, Keri and Lauren did hair and makeup for 5 bridesmaids, a mother and mother-in-law, and me. I changed my mind completely on how I wanted my makeup after wearing the trial makeup around for a day, and Keri was absolutely fantastic. My hair and makeup were flawless for most of the wedding and she really made me feel amazing. Lauren did hair for everyone else and they all looked gorgeous. Her prices were very fair for concierge hair and makeup service, and include airbrush and lashes. They are absolute pros and flew through 8 hair and 8 makeup applications in plenty of time (despite a small delay from Detroit city construction), and flawlessly handled one bridesmaid that didn’t care for her hair and required a little bit of last minute adjusting. Finally, she allows you to pay either in advance, in cash or Venmo, which was super convenient so that we didn’t have to carry around a ton of cash. I highly recommend Jordyn’s team and think they did a wonderful job.

Detroit Glam is the perfect company to go with if you want on-site hair and make-up. Jordyn is super helpful and quick at getting back to you. I had Annie for my bridal hair and make-up and she was amazing! She was very friendly and made the morning more relaxing! She was able to get through mine and my bridesmaids hair and make-up very quickly and everyone looked great! I was amazed at how well my hair and make-up stayed throughout the day of hugs/pictures/July heat and into the night of dancing. Anyone who wants beautiful hair and make-up for their wedding day with no stress should definitely book Detroit Glam. They are amazing!!

Detroit Glam is the company to go with if you want an on-site makeup/hair team. The girls are extremely professional and helpful. All of my bridesmaids and flower girls loved how their hair/makeup turned out. Annie did my hair and makeup and I couldn't have been happier. She did an amazing job!
