AMAZING! Bethany and John made the day so easy...they gave us a timeline and were able to guide us through the day without making it stressful. They made taking all the pictures fun and seem like just a few minutes instead of the hour-hour and a half it was! The preview of the pictures we got were amazing and I can't wait to see the rest!!! I come from a community of engineers who like to call themselves professional photographers so I was pretty picky when I was looking for a photographer for my wedding when I had so many friends who were also so great. However, Beth was probably THE best decision we made for our wedding, she has an amazing price, and works very hard to work with you no matter what your limitations! Her and her assistant photographer/husband John are both so incredibly sweet and are so great at making you feel comfortable. For our engagement photos, she came all the way out to San Diego and even found the most amazing flowers for us for the shoot from a local flower shop that completely transformed our stylized shoot. She really makes you feel super comfortable even if you're not used to being a model, and her style is exactly what we're looking for. She gave us the best whimsical, bohemian, stylized engagement photos ever. They are definitely photos that we will cherish for the rest of our lives and probably THE best photos of myself I've ever had taken of me. They were also both willing to go hiking w/ all of their camera equipment with us in full formalwear, and climb all over the rocks and cliffs next to the ocean in order to get the shots we wanted. She was willing to take engagement photos for us both in Michigan as well as San Diego! Love love love Beth Joy Photography!
