I cannot recommend DeSumma and Wexler more! I got my engagement ring and my husband and I’s wedding bands here and I am obsessed. Every time I go into this jewelry store, all of the staff members are especially helpful and kind. They were easy to work with in the design process and ensured that the final products were exactly how we had envisioned. Highly recommend this jeweler to anyone looking for a stunning ring!

I went to 8 different jewelers in Philly looking for an engagement ring, and finally settled on D & W because a) they had great choices, b) they really understood what I was looking for, and c) they were SO much better to work with than so many others - they cared and felt authentic.

As great as they were with the engagement ring, though it was nothing compared to what they did for our wedding band! We had a general idea about a creative way to weave the band around the engagement ring (a very custom design). They immediately 'got it' and improved enormously on our sketch. Then, when it was finished, we both said - "You know, this is good. But it could be even better"...and then they took it back and redesigned (and fused) the rings at no additional charge!

De Summa and Wexler are by far the most family oriented jewelers I have ever come across. Twenty-six years ago, my father bought my mother’s engagement ring here. My mother and father went to the small shop on Jewelers Row 26 years ago to design the exact ring my mother wears. As I began to seriously consider my engagement, my mother told me to head to Jeweler’s Row to get an idea of what I would like. After visiting several of the other jewelers, I knew immediately there was something different about De Summa and Wexler. Ron took the time to listen to what I wanted and made suggestions as necessary.

After I had found the setting of my dreams, they went above and beyond to find the best quality diamond in the shape and price range I preferred. Several diamonds were ordered in for me to look at in addition to the diamonds available in the shop. There was no pressure in purchasing anything, they simply wanted to make sure I was happy and comfortable with my choice.

I thought it would be special to get my engagement ring from the same jeweler my parents had shopped with years ago. It seemed that everyone at De Summa and Wexler was overjoyed with the tradition I was continuing on with. I never imagined I would be treated with such kindness. I now have a constant reminder of my amazing experience thanks to my beautiful ring. I can only hope in 26 more years I will be back with my daughter – of course not before my sister gets her ring!!

My husband and I bought my engagement ring and both of our wedding rings at DeSumma and Wexler, and we couldn't be happier with them! Ron is extremely accommodating and knowledgeable and we've even referred other family members and friends to DeSumma for their jewelry needs. Every time I am in the area, I am able to stop in and have my rings cleaned free of charge. I am sure that we will be using DeSumma for all of our future jewelry needs!

I really can't say enough good things about our experience with DeSumma and Wexler! Ron worked with my now-husband and I to design a stunning custom ring to serve as my wedding band using heirloom diamonds from my heirloom engagement ring and it came out even more amazingly beautiful than I could have dreamed. I get so many compliments on my ring! He also helped us find the right ring for my husband. He'd been torn between two rings, one they had in shop and one he'd seen online and Ron got both rings in in his size so he could decide which he wanted. He loves his ring, as well! Amazing family-owned business right in the heart of Jeweler's Row. They helped my fiance custom design my engagement ring, using a diamond passed down in my family. It turned out so beautiful, everyone raves about it. Because of their great service and professionalism, we went right back to DeSumma for our wedding bands, which are just as beautiful. When I first went into DeSumma & Wexler, the staff in the store was extremely helpful and professional. They were able to answer all my questions and provide good input on the engagement ring I chose. Based on the good experience there, we went back to the jeweler for our wedding bands, and it was a really simple process. They were able to provide what we wanted, and made the wedding band my wife wanted. Additionally, I used DeSumma & Wexler to purchase my wedding gift for my wife. They are extremely professional, responsive, and competitively priced.

Desumma & Wexler came highly recommended to us by a old co-worker of mine and I'm so glad my now husband went there! After emailing my then boyfriend tons of pics antique style rings that I liked, he took them to D&W and together, they ran w/ it and nailed EXACTLY what I wanted and it was nothing that I had showed him! It's lovely and still 2 years after our wedding day, still sparkles just as it did the day he asked me to marry me! Their jewelry is beautiful and they stand behind their work and are great people!

When my husband and I decided to pick out our wedding rings we first went to the jeweler that he got my engagement ring at. I have an emerald shaped diamond and wanted my band to go with the engagement ring. I told the jeweler what I wanted and he proceeded to bring over rings that were nice but not at all what I was looking for. I tried on maybe 10 rings before he got annoyed at me and told us to come back closer to our wedding. We were very disappointed and we saw Desumma and Wexler a couple stores down and stopped in since friends of ours had gotten their rings there not too long before we did. As soon as we walked in, Ron Desumma took us in and treated us like we were the only ones in the store. He looked at my engagement ring and I told him what I wanted and he said he had something in the back and came out with the ring that goes perfect with my engagement ring. He had it custom made by borrowing my engagement ring for a week so that the wedding ring goes right along with the engagement ring and it couldn't be more beautiful. My husband wanted a tungsten ring but we were told by the previous jeweler that it shatters. Ron explained to us that he never heard of it and had sold hundreds of rings and never had a complaint and gave us the benefits of a tungsten ring. After we ordered our rings, he offered to take my engagement ring right before the wedding to re-dip it and buff out all the scratches so that my ring looked brand new on the wedding day free of charge, which we accepted and my ring looked so pretty and shiny afterwards. The staff was so nice and accommodating and we would definitely recommend them to anyone.
