Destinee photographed our wedding on a HOT day in July and she and her partner, Kenny, were AMAZING. They are patient, attentive, reliable, organized, responsive, personable, and flexible. Destinee is also silly and easy to get along with, which OBVIOUSLY can make a huge difference on your wedding day. Destinee goes with the flow, and also made sure she got all the shots that my husband and I requested. She is super creative and has an incredible eye behind the camera! We had such a positive experience with Destinee from start to finish. Hire her!!!!
I CANNOT SAY ENOUGH POSITIVE THINGS ABOUT DESTINEE. I connected with Sapien Photography to shoot my wedding in 2021 and since that first meeting we have remained connected. I feel like we reached a level of friendship which makes working with her that much easier! Even with this friendship, she still remains professional and organized! Last weekend she shot our engagement photos and it was a total blast. My fiance and I were both pretty nervous and worried about our awkwardness coming through on camera. However, Destinee made the entire experience fun, casual, and comfortable-- not to mention the photos were bright, vibrant, and breathtaking. She laughed with us, joked with us, all the while captured the best photos of our love! She is also inclusive towards all, supporting the LGBTQ+ community as well as people in recovery from substance use and mental health openly on her website, which makes her that much more amazing! I am so excited to see the magic she creates on our wedding day. I will literally never use another photographer. I could go on and on, so I will make myself stop here. I HIGHLY recommend using Destinee for all your photography needs!

Photos and fun!
Destinee and her husband Kenny are so fun! My fiancé and I have had to postpone our wedding due to the pandemic. Destinee has been so patient with me and super low pressure as I nervously hesitate to finalize any replanning details. At this point my review is based on our initial consultation and engagement photo session. I 100% recommend Destinee as a photographer! We had a blast getting to know each other at a brewery, then for our photos frolicking around Portsmouth. The vibe was fun and chill and “YES”, which I loved. I’m so looking forward to when we can actually have our big party because I know she will add light and laughter to our Kodak moments!
