We could not have asked for a better wedding photographer! Desiree is so sweet and wonderful! She made me and husband feel so at ease throughout our engagement photo session as well as during our wedding day! Desiree has a true gift of capturing the most beautiful moments, and we are so happy that she is our photographer!

Desiree was very easy to work with and she takes awesome pictures. She did my daughters bridal portraits, a boudoir session and the wedding/reception photos.

This is a response to the review by "Nunga" by the photographer...

I contacted Wedding Wire to ask them to validate this since there are several other Double Take Photography's across the United States. This review was posted by a one-time user with no other information whose expressed points don't match up with any of my business practices. I received no response, and the user who posted this review deleted their account so I'm unable to contact them.

This is just a follow-up and I'm always happy to provide references of any of the dozens of brides and grooms I've worked with over the years.

For every wedding I've done, there has always been a 4 page, signed contract between me and my clients outlining every detail as to all agreements regarding services, etc. My turnaround time on weddings has always been within 4-6 weeks. This has always been communicated to clients in writing, as well as posted for the public on my website. I feel 4-6 weeks is a very reasonable wait time considering the attention to detail on each image involved. I provide images in color and black/white as an included extra service but don't provide several variations of each image.

I've always held professionalism to be the key ingredient of running a business, and I have, and will always do what I can to ensure my clients are more than thrilled with not just their images, but their overall experience of working with me.

Double Take Photography did a great job at our wedding. I am a VERY picky gal so to say that I am happy with the results is huge, lol. She came in at almost the very last minute when my original photographer bailed on me and she captured many photos that I always loved from the magazines!! Because of the short notice (month or so before the wedding) I wasn't able to really explain to her exactly what I wanted from my pictures, and to love so many of the pictures she took speaks volumes.

We're so lucky to have found our photographer, Desiree'. She customized the package for us and it's exactly what we need and even slightly under budged. She's very professional, friendly, and made us feel comfortable. She would even give us tips on how to pose. :) Her assistant (Jamie) even came (for free) and we ended up with 2 photographers!!! So it was such a great deal for the quality of work that they did. They're able to capture those precious fleeting moments. They did an AMAZING job!!!

We also did a newlywed session with Desiree' at the Arboretum. She's very familiar with the place. She knows exactly where to go and she made the whole experience so FUN!!!

Our digital negatives came a few weeks later and she even gave us complimentary prints which we didn't realize came with the customized package.
