I'm a bit late writing this review, but as we remember our wedding day, we couldn't go without saying how grateful we were. Yara, Emilio, and their team did such an amazing job helping us plan our wedding in February 2022!

For starters, we had a lot of stress around our wedding. Obviously there's the normal amount of stress around planning a wedding, but we also had some big family challenges going on at the same time. We had wanted to plan our wedding without any help, but Yara was highly recommended by our wedding venue and the first time we sat down with her, we understood why.

She and her husband Emilio were so kind to us and instantly took away almost all of the stress we had at the time. They made sure she understood how we were feeling at that time, and then got down to business and made sure they understood our vision for our wedding.

Shortly after that, we sat down with Yara again and saw samples of what she had in mind. We were surprised how well she hit the nail on the head and was able to pinpoint every detail of what we wanted.

Fast forward to the big day and it was like Yara and her team were everywhere! Always one step ahead, she made sure each part of the wedding was on time, but also had a backup plan and remained flexible during the few times that we, the new couple, put us a bit behind schedule with photos. They even handled an emergency with the grooms suit that day and were able to sow a button that fell off of the front right back on. They also made a cake that the bride had imagined from her childhood in Puerto Rico and it was perfect! We hadn't been sure where we would find an authentic cake and she was able to take care of it so easily!

Yara and Emilio, thank you so much for our wedding! I could go on and on about each detail that you handled that day, the quality of service, how kind and understanding you were, and just the overall sense of peace you brought to our big day but if I did, I'd probably never stop writing. Thank you so much and I hope we get the chance to meet again!!

We are so grateful that Designs by Yara was recommended to us at our wedding reception location, Yara is amazing, working with her was so easy, she is always available, she’s only a text, call or email away, so communication with her was A+. Yara help us finalized all of our wedding details, she coordinated with all the vendors, took care of all the wedding set up and tear down along with team, she made sure all of our personal decor elements were properly displayed at our wedding reception, we felt that our wedding represented us as a couple. I was searching for a wedding planner that will help my vision come true within my budget, I search google, the knot, weddingwire and got in contact with different companies but none gave me the personal attention that I was looking for, the minute I contacted Yara, not only that she personally answered the call but she spent more than 30 minutes on the phone with me, she listened and helped me brainstorm my ideas about my wedding vision, 95% of all the other planners I reached out to, either sent me directly to voicemail or to their contact form on their website as a way filtering my budget versus their services. Yara not only helped me stay within my budget, by recommending for us to explore other options, but also helped make my dream come through of having real flowers for my wedding, she’s extremely knowledgeable of her area, her team is just the most friendly and helpful group of people, we never heard a no to anything we asked from them they will always find a way to make it happen. The best thing we did was to hired Yara as our wedding planner and designer, our wedding was just perfect, we still get compliments of how beautiful and special our wedding day was!

Our family experience with Yara was just great, Yara and her team fully planned and designed my daughter's wedding, we couldn't asked for a better wedding planner, Yara is very knowledgeable of her trade, helped us save tons of money, all the vendors she recommended for the wedding were just perfect, she kept us on track with the guests list, wedding timeline. Excellent experience from beginning to end. I would highly recommend Yara for your future wedding or for any celebrations to come.

What started as a wedding consult has turned into a beautiful friendship! A meeting with Yara was recommended to me by our reception venue. I knew that I was going to need help but had no idea what to expect. My now husband and I wanted to do things a little different and have our wedding and reception a couple of weeks apart. I knew that I didn’t have the time or patience to plan/coordinate two events without losing my mind! Thank god for Yara! We booked a consultation with her after a fifteen minute phone call where we immediately hit it off. I told her that I didn’t have a specific vision and that I was only decided on a date, location, and colors. She showed up to the consultation with several decor items in our colors to get a feel for the vibe we were looking for. Our one hour consult turned into what felt like a coffee date with a long lost friend. We signed contracts that night and put both our wedding and reception in Yara’s capable hands no questions asked. She communicated all along the way and we gave her creat Be freedom to do whatever she wanted. It made everything so magical because my husband and I had no idea what either event would look like until we walked in. It was a beautiful surprise each time. She absolutely nailed both events with such a focus on the little details and you could just tell everything was done with love. She ensured that both of our events were a perfect representation of us both individually and as a couple. Since then, I have utilized Yara and her amazing team for several corporate events and personal ones too. Additionally, we have received our full deposits back from every venue as the rooms were left in better condition than when entered. I would encourage everyone I know who is planning an event and doesn’t have the time, patience, or desire to work through every detail on your own. We enjoyed both the wedding and reception fully, not stressing one single detail, not coordinating any vendors, and only focusing on our love and marriage journey ahead of us. I am forever grateful to Yara and her team!

Yara came to us highly recommended, but words cannot express how amazing she really is! She’s extremely personable, her attention to details is immaculate, she will not hesitate to do extra work for you, to make sure your day is just perfect, she answered all of our texts, emails, phone calls. She personally took time to meet with us multiple times to go over all the wedding details.
