I'm a bit late writing this review, but as we remember our wedding day, we couldn't go without saying how grateful we were. Yara, Emilio, and their team did such an amazing job helping us plan our wedding in February 2022!
For starters, we had a lot of stress around our wedding. Obviously there's the normal amount of stress around planning a wedding, but we also had some big family challenges going on at the same time. We had wanted to plan our wedding without any help, but Yara was highly recommended by our wedding venue and the first time we sat down with her, we understood why.
She and her husband Emilio were so kind to us and instantly took away almost all of the stress we had at the time. They made sure she understood how we were feeling at that time, and then got down to business and made sure they understood our vision for our wedding.
Shortly after that, we sat down with Yara again and saw samples of what she had in mind. We were surprised how well she hit the nail on the head and was able to pinpoint every detail of what we wanted.
Fast forward to the big day and it was like Yara and her team were everywhere! Always one step ahead, she made sure each part of the wedding was on time, but also had a backup plan and remained flexible during the few times that we, the new couple, put us a bit behind schedule with photos. They even handled an emergency with the grooms suit that day and were able to sow a button that fell off of the front right back on. They also made a cake that the bride had imagined from her childhood in Puerto Rico and it was perfect! We hadn't been sure where we would find an authentic cake and she was able to take care of it so easily!
Yara and Emilio, thank you so much for our wedding! I could go on and on about each detail that you handled that day, the quality of service, how kind and understanding you were, and just the overall sense of peace you brought to our big day but if I did, I'd probably never stop writing. Thank you so much and I hope we get the chance to meet again!! -

The greatest gift of all!
What started as a wedding consult has turned into a beautiful friendship! A meeting with Yara was recommended to me by our reception venue. I knew that I was going to need help but had no idea what to expect. My now husband and I wanted to do things a little different and have our wedding and reception a couple of weeks apart. I knew that I didn’t have the time or patience to plan/coordinate two events without losing my mind! Thank god for Yara! We booked a consultation with her after a fifteen minute phone call where we immediately hit it off. I told her that I didn’t have a specific vision and that I was only decided on a date, location, and colors. She showed up to the consultation with several decor items in our colors to get a feel for the vibe we were looking for. Our one hour consult turned into what felt like a coffee date with a long lost friend. We signed contracts that night and put both our wedding and reception in Yara’s capable hands no questions asked. She communicated all along the way and we gave her creat Be freedom to do whatever she wanted. It made everything so magical because my husband and I had no idea what either event would look like until we walked in. It was a beautiful surprise each time. She absolutely nailed both events with such a focus on the little details and you could just tell everything was done with love. She ensured that both of our events were a perfect representation of us both individually and as a couple. Since then, I have utilized Yara and her amazing team for several corporate events and personal ones too. Additionally, we have received our full deposits back from every venue as the rooms were left in better condition than when entered. I would encourage everyone I know who is planning an event and doesn’t have the time, patience, or desire to work through every detail on your own. We enjoyed both the wedding and reception fully, not stressing one single detail, not coordinating any vendors, and only focusing on our love and marriage journey ahead of us. I am forever grateful to Yara and her team! -

Yara and Emilio are amazing. They took care of all of the details, that means I could enjoy of my wedding 100%. I do recommend Yara’s service. She is very professional, in other words she knows what she is doing. -

Designs by Yara did an amazing job organizing every detail of our wedding reception. We were beyond pleased with all the services provided, decor, cake, food catering, servers, Dj, and photographer. I will for sure use this company again and recommend to all our friends and family. -

Beautiful designs and easy to work with
Yara and her team both designed and coordinated my wedding. They really brought my Pinterest board to life, and when I walked in and saw the decor, I literally cried happy tears. Yara has such a good eye for design and her beautiful decorations looked amazing in my photos. She was easy to get ahold of for questions and has a true eye for design. What she provided, that I can’t even put a value on, was peace of mind. She took care of everything and made me feel so comfortable in her teams hands, that my family and I were so relaxed and really able to enjoy the days leading up to the wedding. Yara conducted our rehearsal and followed up with all my vendors before the big day. Everyone around me was shocked at how calm I was, and I tribute that to knowing Yara and her team had everything handled. And they really did! I recommend booking with her to any bride in the area! -

Designs by Yara is the Real Deal Y’all!!!
I cannot sing the praises of Yara and her Designs by Yara team enough!! This team is absolutely the real deal! I was so lucky to be able to find Designs by Yara and secure their services for my wedding day! I would have been LOST without Yara by my side helping me filter all my ideas and expectations on my Pinterest board versus budget and reality ☺️ Yara took my ideas and made them 1000% better than expected!! My wedding cake was just stunning!!! I still have people talking about it! Yara really outdid herself!!! Without a second thought I can tell you to hire Yara and her team and don’t sweat the planning with Designs by Yara on your side, she will take care of all the details! And you will be able to sit back and really enjoy your big day!!! -

Amazing and Beautiful wedding planner
Yara- words cannot express how grateful I am to have had you as a wedding planner. You made me feel calm and still in control. I absolutely trusted you in this journey. You are boss in “go time.” Your love for Jesus and the way you encouraged me when I felt stress was just beautiful. You are exactly where God wants you and I pray that many more brides/grooms get to experience all that you offer. Thank you for such a creative backdrop and head table. You captured my vision and created a stunning setting for my husband and I to share our first meal together. My day was perfectly ours and you played a vital role. Yara Rodriquez , of Designs by Yara , outdid all of my husband Larry and I's expectations for an elegant, beautiful, and extraordinary wedding day experience. She was able to take our color scheme and fall wedding theme to a level of beauty, peacefulness, and joy that we couldn't even imagine. Everyone who attended the wedding commented on the beauty, the feeling of exuberance...holiness... and sheer joy of the day. Finally, Yara had every detail so well crafted that my husband and I could just enjoy and relax on our wedding day without a concern in the world. We highly recommend Yara by Design. -

I actually was a vendor. I was a DJ for a wedding we worked at together. I just had to leave a review of her work. She and her team are incredible. The designs she created for the wedding absolutely blew my mind. What she did to that venue looked like a major scale event company had come in but it wasn't it was her and her team. The colors, decorations, her attention and attemptiveness to the time and the couple. An absolute Hidden Gem if you ask me. -

Simply the BEST
My husband and I were looking for somebody that could work with our budget and make it as amazing as possible Yara and her husband did a phenomenal job! Everything was perfect from the decorations, to the cake, to the coordination of the event. We got to enjoy every moment💕 and these memories will last a lifetime! -
