When the florists' people showed up to start decorating the venue, I was appalled. I was very specific about what I wanted and/or not wanted and I told her I did not want to see ANY orange. Well, She had used two massive orange pumpkins as part of the decorations, as well as orange mums. Also, she was told that we needed ivory tulle to decorate the banisters and they showed up with old, dirty, stained, burnt white tulle. Luckily I had purchased a large amount of ivory tulle and for some reason never returned it. My bridesmaids definitely saved the day by replacing all her white, dirty tulle, with ivory, fresh tulle. Another problem I had was that she took all the outside decorations down without asking if we were finished or if we needed any pictures first. I designed a beautiful backdrop for the ceremony and didn't even get to take any photos in front of it. And now she will get to use it and make money off of my design. Not to mention that she ruined my centerpieces. I specifically said to use very little greenery if any at all and that's basically all she used. I was very disappointed in what she brought us. I wanted to make my own centerpieces, but was talked out of it. If you want something done right, you just have to do it yourself. She told my mom that she was short handed that day due to a funeral and someone quitting, but I feel like she was just making excuses because she obviously didn't pay attention to anything I wanted.
