Maria is fantastic! My wedding dress needed minor alterations and she did a wonderful job. We had two fittings to make sure everything was perfect. She even steamed the dress for me free of charge the day before the wedding. Great value for excellent work. Thanks Maria!

If I could give negative stars, I would. I strongly urge everyone to use any other tailor.

I took a bridesmaid dress to Maria to be tailored and she absolutely butchered it. She made it too small. There were threads hanging out of the top of the shoulder straps. She cut material out of the side seam after I specifically asked her not to. I asked for side ruching and she added horrible side pleats.

She also took way too long to complete the work. She had the dress for a month. We arranged for fittings in advance and the dress was never ready at the agreed time. I asked for the dress to be done 1 week before the event and she finally gave it to me two days before the wedding I needed it for. At that time, I was able to see the horrible quality of her work. I rushed it to another tailor who was unable to fix the dress before the event because the dress was so terribly altered by Maria.

In fact, I'm not sure it can be saved at all. When all was said and done, I had wasted about $200 on a dress that I could not even wear. I didn't match the other women at the wedding. It was embarrassing and upsetting!
