Justin Reuben Avery has enjoyed 22 years in the garment construction industry in California. He began in Berkeley teaching himself the art. He later attended and earned a degree from the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising (FIDM), Los Angeles. He owns and operates a design studio in beautiful Santa Barbara California. All of his work is custom designed for each of his clients. His areas of expertise include: pattern drafting, couture, design and construction of wedding dresses (including plus size), bridesmaid dresses and formal attire, general alterations, reconstructions and costuming.
