I used Deonna and her team to capture our wedding day almost a year ago! I originally met her through a close friend so I had some knowledge of her work. My husband and I had a fairly short engagement and were wedding planning out of state. We have also been a part of quite a few weddings so we had a good idea of what we wanted. When we started to gather quotes for various wedding vendors, we were pleasantly surprised to see how affordable Deonna was compared to other Chicago vendors.

A few days before our wedding, I provided a list of photos we wanted throughout the day. Deonna customized the list to maximize time and efficiency at the various locations. She also scouted out several locations throughout our reception that had not crossed my mind. I really loved that she was able to track down so many friends and family throughout the night without having to follow me around. I was able to enjoy our entire reception! Deonna was wonderful! she was so on the ball in every aspect of the planning and did an excellent job in the execution of the whole day! she really worked with me and was so easy to talk to and throw out ideas to. and of course my pictures are beautiful!

After months of searching for a photographer in Milwaukee, we didn't find anyone that fit our personality or our budget. Since we live in Chicago, we decided to continue the search in Chicago and that is when we found Deonna. From the start, she was all about service and had no issue with traveling to Milwaukee (which proved to be true as we had a blizzard the day of our wedding!). We fell in love with Deonna's photojournalistic style and her services were exactly what we had been looking for - all day coverage, flush mount albumn and a second photographer so we were able to capture all of those separate bride/groom getting ready shots plus different angles on all of the festivities for the night. Her creativity, responsiveness, professionalism, personality and flexibility is something every couple deserves for their wedding day - she captured the moments that we will cherish for a lifetime. Throughout the process, Deonna was extremely professional and friendly. She always responded to emails very promptly and was very helpful at walking us through the process. The day of the wedding, Deonna did a great job finding beautiful ideas for shots and helping keep me and the bridesmaids on schedule as we got ready. At the wedding Deonna was unobtrusive and I barely noticed she was there.

Deonna did an exceptional job with our photography for our engagement and our wedding. Along with her 2nd photographer Peter, they captured every moment of our day. Our pictures will make statements for years to come. She take the normal posed shots with family and friends, but can also add flair to those if you want. Then she mix her photojournalism in with get pictures of dances, speeches, and other main events of the wedding. She made our whole wedding process very easy, always answer promptly to emails. You do receive a flash drive with the original image files. Definitely suggest using Deonna!

Deonna Caruso took the best pictures and captured all the great moments of my evening! I can always look back and remember what a great night that was because of the photography. Deonna also edited the pictures in such a way where it captured the look and feel of my wedding while having the traditional shots every wedding needs! I would highly reccommend her to any bride. Not to mention you get so many options from the photo albulm to controlling every aspect of your photos online. She is extremely talented and it shows in every photo!

Deonna is a fantastic photographer! We hired her for our August 2013 wedding and could not be happier. Deonna has such a bubbly personality and her love for photography shows through the moment you meet her. We worked with Deonna for both our wedding and engagement photos. My husband and I hadn't really taken professional photos together and Deonna made our engagement shoot very relaxed and lots of fun.

Deonna and her assistant did a phenomenal job capturing our wedding day. She has a great eye for detail, which was great since we didn't really get to spend much time admiring the flowers, decor or dessert table. Deonna came early to scout out our wedding site (ceremony and reception were at the same venue), and was able to get some amazing shots of us and our guests from all different vantage points. Deonna and her assistant Peter were absolutely awesome! They were incredibly perceptive and got amazing shots. Our wedding day was raining non-stop but we still have gorgeous pictures to memorialize the day! Deonna takes brilliant candid shots which are very artistic. 100% satisfied :)
