As a bride, I couldn't have asked for a more perfect setting for our big day than DBW. From the moment we toured the space, I knew it was exactly what we were looking for—rustic, charming, and full of character, with just the right amount of elegance to make our wedding feel both intimate and special.

The barn itself is stunning, inside and out, making it the perfect backdrop for photos. We chose to have our ceremony outdoors, and the lush grounds surrounding the barn made for an absolutely picturesque scene. It felt like we were in our own little world, tucked away from the hustle and bustle, yet still close enough for our guests to get there easily.

What truly set this venue apart, though, was the incredible staff. From day one, they were so organized, responsive, and genuinely excited to help us create the wedding of our dreams I was never stressed because I knew I had a team who cared about making everything go smoothly.

The reception space inside the barn was perfect for our vision. We were able to decorate it to our style, and the exposed wood and rustic charm blended seamlessly with the flowers, candles, and their rental decor company had it all! The atmosphere was magical, especially once the string lights were turned on for the evening. It felt so warm and welcoming—it was exactly what I imagined when I dreamed about my wedding.

I also have to mention how easy they made everything for our guests. The parking was ample, and there were several areas for people to relax and enjoy themselves. The venue offered a perfect balance between cozy and spacious—there was plenty of room for dancing, mingling, and even taking photos in the beautiful surroundings.

Our wedding day was truly everything I hoped for and more, and I owe so much of that to the incredible team and the gorgeous venue. I would highly recommend it to any couple looking for a beautiful, stress-free, and unforgettable wedding experience. It truly made our day unforgettable. We held my reception at Dellwood Barn Weddings this past October and it was exactly what we needed for our big day. We wanted to get married at church and then have our reception at a barn and it worked our perfect. We used the venue to get ready do our hair/makeup in the morning as well as take pictures before we had our ceremony at the church. All of guests headed back over the venue after the ceremony for cocktail hour and dinner! The guests really enjoyed the venue and dancing all night. Great food/drinks and a lovely time for everyone around!

My new husband and I got married at this venue on 10/21! We got engaged in the summer and planned our wedding in 90 days! At first we were not sure if we could pull off a wedding this fast but it was way easier than we ever thought! If you are thinking about planning a wedding in a short amount of time this is the venue to go. with With everything on site that you need and the help to plan. We used their onsite coordinator Ashley for our day off wedding coordinator and it made everything so great! She helped set up the whole wedding and made sure the day ran smoothly so we didn't have to worry about anything. We are glad we got married in 2022 and didn't wait another year!

My husband Kurt and I had our wedding at Dellwood Barn Weddings 10/29 and we had the most amazing day! We always knew we wanted a barn wedding and this made our dreams come true. We opted to get married inside of the barn for a rustic but chic fall look. All of the lights that come in the barn made it so magical along with the rental decor from the venue. We hardly needed any additional decor items because the venue has everything you need, which made planning so easy and stress free! The bonfire/s'mores was perfect for a fall evening wedding and all of our guests enjoyed the grounds and seeing the horses/dogs! We recommend this barn if you're looking for a great location and easy planning wedding.

My husband and I got married at Dellwood last month Oct 22! It was the perfect fall Minnesota wedding that we always dreamed of. The colors at the venue were perfect orange and red, our photos turned out so magical and everything we were looking for. We got blessed with a warm MN fall day and had the best time using the property with the yard comes and bonfire pit that come with the venue package. We booked our date over a year before and the planning process was a breeze. Our wedding party and guests had a great time here!

My husband and I had our wedding here this past July and it was everything we were looking for! We wanted a rustic barn feel that was out in a pretty area but not far away from the main cities. This venue was perfect for that and all of our guests local and out of town. Easy to get to and from and has lots of ammonites for our guests in the area and at the venue day of. The staff and owners were super friendly and made the whole wedding process smooth! Great barn venue to book for your wedding.

We had our wedding here on August 5th and it was so great, our dream day. We had been planning our wedding for awhile and the whole process with the venue was super smooth and they had everything that we needed to make our day great! The staff and the owners during the process and day of were super helpful. The venue is gorgeous and we got lots of compliments from our guests and how fun the day was. I attended my good friends wedding here last summer and it was such an amazing event! It was the perfect weather day for an outside venue with lots of fun things to do to keep all of us entertained throughout the whole night! I have attended a lot of weddings and this was by far one of my favorite venues to attend and enjoy a summer night wedding. They have super fun cocktails you can purchase as well as a bonfire with s'mores kit ready to make your own. We had lots of fun options to take photos and super fun sunset areas! We all danced the night away and were sad to see it all come to an end! If you or a friend is looking for a great venue, I would recommend looking into this one! The staff was also super helpful when we needed something, kept the venue super clean and the day ran smoothly and transitioned well!

My good friend good married at this venue and I helped her coordinator the day of her wedding to make sure things ran smoothly! From the time that she booked her wedding a year and half ago until the wedding day things went so great! The planning process was so smooth because the venue and staff have all of planning tools and decor that you need. The owners were super great to work with and helpful every step of the way. They literally think of everything you could need to help you plan the wedding as well as take care of everything the day of! The day of the wedding also went super smooth and guests loved the venue space and staff who take care of everything! They staff made sure we had what we needed all day long and any last minute things that we forgot! If you are looking for a stress free wedding process and day of, you should book here!

DBW gave me the wedding reception of my dreams! Firstly, thank you to Julie and Scott for being so accommodating during COVID times. We had to reschedule our wedding from July 2020 to May 2021 because of the pandemic and also my dad getting diagnosed and eventually passing from Stage 4 lung cancer. Obviously I was not in a mood to celebrate and Julie allowed me to postpone our reception (we always planned on getting married at a church) to May vs the fall of 2020 and I'm so grateful that I was allowed that time to get some closure because I had to drastically adjust our reception (it still breaks my heart that I never got my father/daughter dance) and it just allowed me to be in a better place mentally to actual be able to enjoy my day.

If you want a beautiful venue and to do very little work to make it even more beautiful, pick DBW. Pay for the upgraded package for their decor rental and you''ll spend an hour picking out pinterest worthy items that have been proven to look good with their set up, and they even do all the work on the big day to stage the items for you. I literally just had to show up and give Julie the seating chart. That was the extent of my decorating. That's it. And it was GORGEOUS. We got so many compliments on the venue! Also, to double up on how little effort I had to really put in planning this reception, DBW's welcome package has a list of all their "preferred" vendors (which is mostly just vendors that have been there before and had a positive experience) and they were all high quality professionals. I went with everyone off their list except for flowers/hair/makeup and have no complaints!

We definitely lucked out and had a beautiful day weather wise, which is great because DBW is a big property with a lot of space for guests to mingle outside. Part of the decor package is yard games, so we had cornhole, hammerschlagen, yard golf, various tables/chairs to sit and gather at, a smores bar/fire pit and if you ask nicely and Scott is in town, they'll even do a tractor ride (that you can take booze on!). They also have various horses and dogs (in pens) that are very friendly that guests can interact with. And they are very well behaved. My reception was very casual and whenever the guests that were interested in the dogs came up for pets, there was no jumping or anything.

Thankfully we didn't have a very hot day, but we still had the AC on because I was busy busting a move on the dance floor. There's two AC units, but there's one that's directly on the dance floor and you better believe I incorporated dancing in front of it as a move because it was industrial strength and worked so well. The barn doors had to be closed to both keep the noise from the DJ as well as the cool air in but honestly, it was not a factor at all.

Honestly, if you work with contracts regularly, DBW isn't really any different. Make sure you read over it and know about the early end time (1030pm roughly, but they want everyone out by 1100pm), the special event insurance, the special insurance if you don't go with their suggested DJ (we went with their recommendation, ZeroGravity/Jeff and he was great, also already has the insurance), the closing of the barn doors while music is on, what alcohol is included in the buyback plan (also just a heads up if you do open bar and you hit your limit that you prepaid for, you can keep a card open and they'll check in with you every $500 to see if you still want to keep it open. Wasn't an issue for us but definitely is considerate since booze adds up fast and some people don't realize once they've been drinking), and things like that. The contract makes it seem like they are sticklers but honestly Julie and Scott were a blast. They even worked super hard to make sure that I had enough space for a Big Buck Hunter game for my reception as well as any other things I had questions or suggestions on. Seriously, they were so easy to work with, cannot recommend DBW enough! Everyone get married here!
