Hope Glen Farm and Treehouse is a vintage barn wedding venue located in Cottage Grove, Minnesota. Originally built in 1860, this is an idyllic and peaceful location for couples who are looking for a place with history and country charm. Since the 1860s, the original barn buildings have been lovingly restored, providing guests with a memorable and one-of-a-kind wedding venue.
Facilities and Capacities
Surrounded by 500 acres of Cottage Grove Ravine Regional Park, Hope Glen Farm has plenty of scenic views to offer. There are both indoor and outdoor areas of the venue so couples can enjoy the best of both worlds. With the ability to host up to 280 guests, you can have all of your friends and family in attendance. The barn offers a traditional rustic atmosphere that will spark the romance of your special day. The grounds offer many picturesque locations including an arched tree with a chandelier that can double as the location of your ceremony. In case of rain, The Pavilion can provide shelter from the elements. Unique features such as a real wood fire pit for s'mores and fireboxes add to the ambiance that will leave an impression on your guests.
Services Offered
Hope Glen Farm has a number of services available for your big day. At this pet-friendly venue, you can have your furry partners-in-crime in attendance for the festivities. The property will also take care of the setup and cleanup of your wedding so all you have to do is show up and celebrate. You will be invited to begin your day in the comfort and luxury of the venue’s Get Ready Suites. These private rooms provide ample room for both wedding parties to relax before walking down the aisle. The team’s day-of coordinator will be on-hand throughout your event to ensure that every element of your day runs smoothly.
Accommodations
The property’s luxurious accommodations are a stand-out feature of the venue. The Honeymoon Suite Treehouse is a suite built into a 150-year-old Burr White Oak tree. The interior features wood paneling on the ceiling and walls, a fireplace, and a jacuzzi tub. The Corn Crib Cottage Suite was built in 1940. Since then it has been renovated to have a fireplace, jacuzzi, grand staircase, and full kitchen. This suite has a warm and cozy setting.

Review summary
Hope Glen Farm is a fairytale-like venue with stunning grounds and a memorable treehouse suite. The on-site Bridal Bliss package and day-of coordination remove stress, with attentive staff and smooth execution. Guests loved the value and varied event spaces; minor issues like a narrow aisle or small post-wedding hiccups were rare.
Venue of a lifetime!
We loved that the venue had a Bridal Bliss package where we could choose from hundreds of decor items that we didn’t have to purchase ourselves and use one time. Eryka and her team were wonderful to work with and there was such a weight lifted from our shoulders when we didn't have to worry about the coordination of vendors or decor on site the day of our wedding. Having Eryka as our day of coordinator was amazing! Everything was so organized and we never had any doubts about how her and her team would set everything up at the venue.
Staying in the treehouse after our wedding was the best way to end our wedding day and we wish would would have had more time to explore. We will definitely have to book it again so we can enjoy all of the components of the tree house!

Historic Hope Glen is a beautiful setting for your rustic outdoor wedding. Not only that, but the staff is reliable, warm kind, and ethical, and give you excellent value. There also isn't a problem with inclement weather. Their beautiful pavilion will accommodate you as well.
Everything about Hope Glen Farm is beautiful! It's such an easy location for a photographer to find fantastic photo spots. The owners of the Farm are wonderful people and so incredibly easy to work with too!
Historic Hope Glen Farm is one of the MOST BEAUTIFUL farm venues in the twin cities area. Not only do they have a truly amazing space for couples to utilize and personalize the way they need, they are also VERY flexible to work with. Michael and Paula have a true grace and understanding of what brides need on their wedding day and are able to offer the absolute BEST to every single client that walks onto their property. Simply Elegant has the pleasure of working with them often and our whole staff gets SO EXCITED when we are able to be a part of the perfection that is Hope Glen Farm!
