Our wedding was amazing, just like the fairy tale I imagined while growing up. At first, I was nervous about having a winter wedding. I wanted a venue that was gorgeous both outside and inside. Erickson Farmstead provided everything we needed. With a fresh blanket of snow covering the ground, it was the perfect location. Besides the beautiful scenery, my favorite aspect was having the option to set up the night before and stay overnight. This significantly reduced the stress of getting ready so that I could truly enjoy being a bride on my wedding day. Dennis was also very accommodating, fast to respond, and offered us plenty of tips for wedding planning and ideas that would work well at the Farmstead. I highly recommend Erickson Farmstead for weddings or other special life events.

Side note for couples looking for a Queer friendly venue, this venue was very professional and welcoming to all. They are also dog-friendly, so your four-legged friend can be a part of your special day.

Erickson Farmstead is absolutely magical. We fell in love with EF at first sight, and it did not disappoint. The staff is unimaginably helpful and amazing, and made us feel like family. They went so far above and beyond to make our day perfect. We got so many compliments from our guests on our venue selection; everyone loved Erickson!

We LOVED working with Erickson farmsteads. Dennis and Elizabeth were PHENOMENAL! We are a military couple and with communication and coordination Dennis was willing to modify the contract to fit our needs (cancellation in the event of navy / deployment / etc). Additionally, they accommodated our date when it was out of season, among so many other things. On the day of our event Elizabeth was around to help sort catering and other stuff. Dennis was kind, talkative, responsive, and so loving towards us! We rented the house prior. They were great at communication, and let us store floral arrangements on site. I could go on and on. Just communicate with Dennis and your wedding coordinator and you will be thankful you did!! We didn’t think we’d get an outside or barn wedding, and Dennis and Elizabeth were the people who made this possible. The weather was a pleasant surprise and they were willing to swap stuff up last minute when weather was nice.

Where do I begin, from the start this venue caught my attention because of all the beautiful locations within the grounds. It won my heart over with the outdoor dance floor, the stunningly beautiful dining tables, and the small details. They are one of only two venues that I found in the state that allows you to have your dance outdoors, which was everything to me; I wanted to dance under the stars. Like everyone getting married this year -Covid was an issue, but Dennis and Elizabeth were so amazing about everything. Because we were outside and there is no maximum capacity on a huge outdoor farm, we were able to have our wedding as planned, with no where near as insane cuts as other venues were making couples do. Dennis was so calm and collected with all of my concerns, my stresses and even my mood swings. I can't say enough how awesome they all were. Every time we had a concern or an issue about Rona or what could happen, they were there with solutions. If you have any concerns, just call them, they are more than willing to talk to you and talk you through anything and work with you to figure everything out. Communication is so important and I am so grateful that they were so easy to communicate with. The day of the wedding went off without a single issue, honestly there wasn't anything that I noticed that was off. Everything was set up exactly how we spoke it would be, even including last second changes. The grounds are so beautiful, the house was perfect to get ready in, only thing I would suggest if you're doing peak heat season wedding bring a couple more fans for upstairs. The staff the day of was so helpful, even the day after we forgot a few things and they were there to help me out finding them the next day. If I were to do it all over again, I would still do it here. I am now trying to come up with any other reasons I can for us to have a get together at the farm.

There are a couple hotels in the area, but make sure you book the hotels early if you do book the venue. Thankfully most of our friends and family live pretty close so there as no worries about lodging. It was perfect for us too because we don't live to far, and had the after party at our house.

We also had our three dogs as part of our wedding, and being able to have them there made the day just that much more perfect. They were able to be there and there were no issues, Dennis, and everyone love animals.

Honestly, if you are questioning it, don't. Go with Erickson, you will NOT regret it. Because of Covid, we had to move some tables outside, but because there is so much you can customize to make it your very own, we had our sweetheart table outside as well, in-between both areas that our guests were seated and it was perfect!

The grounds are beautiful with so many perfect photo spots, there is so much decor and furniture included, the dance floor is amazing, the owners are like family, the coordinators are so helpful, it is family friendly, there is so much to do and so much room, they provide yard games, the location is perfect, everything the day of was so stress free and I owe that to them. There was really nothing I can complain about. It was the perfect venue for our perfect day.

The venue itself is just stunning!!! The staff handled all the details to make for a stress free day. They have 6 gorgeous well maintained buildings that each have their own characteristics. Everything about the venue and staff was just magical in every single way possible. I dont have enough good things to say about Erickson Farmstead.

We met with Dennis on a Friday night to tour the farm as a wedding venue. Dennis did an amazing job. He is friendly, knowledgeable about all things wedding related. He spent over 2 hours with us touring, showing us all our options and answering all of our questions. When we left our tour I think we all already knew that we would be booking the venue, however there was never any pressure to book or put down a deposit. Looking forward to a June 2021 wedding at Erickson Farmstead.

We held a fundraising event that has a rustic theme. The event space was perfect! Staff was very kind, caring and accommodating.

I hosted a family baby shower for 30+ ppl at the farm on one of the coldest days of January. I honestly couldn’t have found a more perfect venue for this event! I felt like, not only did I get to treat guests to great food and a good time, we also got to gather in a cozy, welcoming and historical home and many of the guests commented on how ‘homey’ it felt. The several different gathering space options made it possible to move around with a big group. I set up lunch in the loft and mingled, played games, served dessert and coffee and opened gifts on the mail floor. We had a wonderful time!

I would absolutely recommend them. Sarah did great things for us before the event and the event space was so perfect.
