When we found Anna & Andrew, we had planned for a small San Diego elopement, but weeks before the wedding, plans had to drastically change (COVID). We had decided to get married in a different state, Arizona. Which meant in ~2 weeks notice we had to change all of our plans. Except for our photographers, Dear Lovers. We had only hoped they would agree to still photograph our day because of how much we loved their work. We were beyond grateful that they agreed and came to Sedona for our new elopement, and when it came to our wedding day we were even more grateful to them. They made us feel comfortable, and confident. Every time they took a photo we felt like ourselves, which was important to us. When I had my first phone call with Andrew, I was so pleased & comforted how Andrew was able to break down the answers to all my questions & concerns. Andrew & Anna are so patient & kind, they honestly feel like you've known them for years whenever you are in their presence. Our ceremony wedding was simple & intimate, no chairs, no signage, no flower arrangements, just us & nature. After our ceremony, we drove over to my parent's backyard for our outside/indoor reception. I feel so humbled every time I look at my wedding photos because Andrew & Anna did a perfect job tieing in the intimacy in our photos from the ceremony to the simple backyard reception. Today, Dear Lovers remain our to-go photographers for whenever my husband & I have life events we want to be captured.

My husband and I had the honor of having Dear Lovers Photography (Anna & Andrew) capture our wedding in September 2019. I found them on Instagram in early 2018...and absolutely fell in love with their work. I knew that I wanted them to capture our wedding. Not being located in SD, we were unable to meet them in person but we were able to meet them through FaceTime. We had the most amazing experience with them over the past year. They photographed our engagement shoot in California and our wedding in Vermont. I can remember our first call with them, last February, and after speaking with them for just 30 minutes, we knew we had to use them! We just clicked!

After we had got engaged, we took some time to start wedding planning. I had seen dear lovers work about a year ago via a friend of mine's wedding. I was inspired by their photos and knew it would be those pictures that would create the memories that would recreate our special day for years to come. Anna and Andrew met us a few months before our wedding when we traveled from New Jersey to San Deigo. We met them at a local coffee shop where they showed us samples of their work and even sweet Anna gave me the most delicious chocolate ever. Dani was one of the first vendors I hired a year and a half ago. We met for coffee and I knew right away I wanted to be alongside us on our wedding day. Dani from Dear Lovers Photography is not only the sweetest but takes gorgeous photos. When I was looking for a photographer for our wedding, she was the only one I reached out to who wanted to meet my fiancé and I to get to know us before making our final decision.

She was super helpful and responsive throughout the whole process from scheduling the engagement shoot to last minute questions prior to the wedding. She brought a second photographer, James, the day of the wedding. They were so easy to work with and captured the day beautifully.

We decided to use Anna and Andrew from Dear Lovers Photography after I met them at the bridal bazaar with my mom. Their work was our favorite even after seeing so many that day! Anna and Andrew took so much time helping us plan our wardrobe for our engagement shoot and met with us to get coffee to talk about the feel that we wanted for our wedding day. They were even an integral part in getting our wedding day timeline together! My husband did not want to do a "first look" (he wanted to see me for the first time walking down the eisle). This made our wedding day timeline extremely tight for getting photos in before the sun set! Anna and Andrew were extremely professional on the day of our wedding and helped everyone stay on top of the schedule so that we could get family portraits that we wanted to capture. We have gotten so many compliments on our engagement photos that are framed in our homes! We were also thrilled with our wedding photos! I have been looking through them and trying to pick a few favorites to frame but every single photo is perfect! They even gave us the film prints in a wooden keepsake box so that we could have tangible copies of our memories for years to come. I would highly recommend Anna and Andrew from Dear Lovers!
