I know there are a lot of great reviews on here but I felt compelled to write a review considering how I keep watching my wedding video over and over and over again. I AM OBSESSED WITH HOW IT CAME OUT. We were on the fence about even having a videographer and our wedding planner referred us to Melissa and Maio Media and thank goodness she did!! The video and the photos are the only thing you have after you have planned this event for months and you want an amazing memory. My husband has a better eye for videography and he chose Maio out of a couple of different options based on the quality of theother videos they had done and allllllll of my friends and family cannot stop talking about what great quality our video is and how it made them laugh and cry and just remember what an incredible day it was. I barely remember the videographer team on the day of which I think was on purpose!! They are there capturing everything but careful not to get in the way of a natural moments or in the way of your fun! I couldn’t even tell you what their names are, I was so distracted by everything else. Clearly when you watch our video though, you know they got the best angles and shots of literally everything important. Plus I love that you can get a longer documentary edit so you have it for memories instead of just the highlight video. 20 years from now we will be able to watch the whole thing and show our kids what our special day was like!! Thank you Melissa and Maio Media, you guys nailed it!

Melissa of Maio Media was fabulous to work with - granted my wedding was only 4 days ago (1/13/18) but I would recommend her to just about any one. She arrived on time, sweetly introduced herself and quickly got to work - often I forgot she was even around while I got my makeup done. That was true professionalism - she made sure to capture the day without impacting the dynamic of what was going on. She was also very organized, sending me preference and information forms ahead of time, and was VERY patient with me as I changed my requests of music two or three times. She could not have been nicer, and I am so happy we decided to work with her! Thanks Melissa!!

Wedding - June 2017
Initially my (now) husband and I were hesitant in booking a videographer for our wedding, as like many, we were concerned about the affordability of this expense within our budget. We scheduled a consultation with Maio Media after they were recommended by our DJ and watching videos of their fantastic work on their sleek website. We met with Melissa at Maio Media’s trendy studio in the Downtown Santa Ana art district. Melissa was willing to work within our budget, including incorporating drone coverage. On the day of our wedding, Melissa and Maio Media were prompt to arrive and were immediately ready to shoot. They worked seamlessly with our photographer in documenting our day and we took their direction as needed for capturing footage to incorporate into our video. Our highlight video was ready within the timeframe estimated in our contract and it was more than what we could have ever hoped for. Watching the edited work that Maio Media put together of our wedding immediately transported us back to the memories of that day. We could not wait to share it with our family and friends, many of whom expressed their love of the video, as well as confessing their tears of joy. Melissa and Maio Media were professional, friendly, and extremely talented. They will go above and beyond your expectations when you book them to video your future wedding or event.

Melissa was absolutely AMAZING!! Her and her team captured our wedding day perfectly from start to finish. We love having the short highlight video of our day to share with family and friends that were not able to be there. She was 100% professional, showed up on time and got all the footage we could have ever asked for and more. We have referred her to many of our friends and will continue to do so in the future! EXCELLENT!! Melissa and her crew did an AMAZING job! I couldn't recommend her more! She was reasonably priced and easy to get a hold of. Our video turned out amazing, I cry every time I watch it. She was very professional and fun to be around.

If you are on the fence about including a videographer in your wedding budget, and which videographer at that, my best recommendation I can give is to have Melissa be apart of your wedding. After comparing many different videographers, I felt Melissa's prices were the fairest. After getting my highlight video, I can't boast about her talent enough. I am SO happy that we picked her to capture our wedding. Our video was so beautifully done and captured our happiest day together perfectly. Being the bride and groom, you really do miss a lot at your wedding because you have so many things to do- having a video to look back on and seeing how much fun your guests had is priceless. I also received the full ceremony/reception edit and I LOVE it! Thank you Melissa- we had such a great time watching our video together and reflecting back on our 6 months of marriage. I can't say how happy I am that we added this option onto our package.
