Photography is more than just taking pictures to me. They are our favorite memories. They are our life stories. They invoke emotions like happiness, joy and sometimes sadness. Being allowed into the lives of people to document these stories is an honor. Flowers wilt, parties end, but photographs last for generations. This is what you will use to show your grandchildren who you were when you were their age. Photographs truly are priceless.

I love weddings. I love seeing the beautiful dresses, gorgeous flowers and happy faces. I love the incredible parties and the music that makes it hard for me to not drop the camera and run out on the dance floor! Girls dream of our wedding day and every single detail that will go into it from the time we are old enough to understand what a wedding is. It is one of the biggest moments of our lives and it should be treated as such by all who are responsible for making it memorable. Being trusted to capture moments that are personal, private and reserved only for family and friends is something to be cherished.

On a more personal note, I live in Brighton, MI and am kept on my toes by my boys – 14 years old and 4 years old. Talk about having to multitask! I’ve traveled from Brighton, MI to Savannah, GA to shoot and loved every minute of it! I’ve been behind the camera for most of my adult life and hope that I never have to stop doing what I’m doing.
