Todd DJ’d for our son's wedding! He was fantastic! He kept us on track and had the dance floor going all night. His price was fair and his communication was excellent. Definitely recommend! Everyone had a fantastic time!

We had a great experience with Todd. After our initial call with him, to the wedding night, Todd exceeded our expectations. Our wedding was a small, 50-person event with both indoor and outdoor spaces in River North. Todd worked with that perfectly, providing a seamless sound system for both areas, along with a mic/stand for our vows and headset mic for the officiant. On the wedding day, we were running a bit flustered from photos when we arrived to the event space. We had not had a chance to meet Todd before that but once we arrived, he immediately put us at ease. He was already set up, dressed well, and greeted us in a warm, professional manner. He guided us through every moment of the night, from announcements to the first dances and cake cutting. It was a huge relief for the day. One of our biggest fears was that people may not dance much, especially with guests from different backgrounds. But Todd was exceptional at reading the room and getting the party started. He had excellent music selection and judgment. We gave him a small list of songs, including Albanian and Russian songs. He knew exactly when to play them, and our guests were on the dance floor until midnight. We received so many compliments on how much fun the DJ made the night. If you want a DJ who is professional, a great communicator, and an expert at keeping the energy high, Todd is a great choice!

Our DJ Todd Acari was very accommodating and open to my requests. I sent a pre-ceremony list as well as a song-list for cake/cutting, recessional, a list for cocktail/dinner hour and one for dance music. He announced every transition in a subtle but professional way.. He organized the reception/dance songs I sent him and kept the majority of guests dancing. My husband and I are extremely pleased with his performance.

My wife and I found ourselves planning our wedding smack dab in the middle of several other family weddings over the past year. Each event we went to was an opportunity for us to critique details of the ceremony, reception, and design choices that were made. We often saw things that we borrowed for our own wedding, and just as often, identified things that were definitely not our style or that we would do differently. One thing we consistently noted, was that the reception could be made or broken by the music choices, sound quality, and general atmosphere created by the DJ. Todd was our first choice. He was quick to reply, always professional, and very accommodating with our many specific requests. It turns out, we hired Todd without even knowing that both of my wife’s sisters had hired him for their weddings 10 years before! Todd was great. He really made our day special. We kept saying that the one thing we cared most about was our guests having a great time. And each of them did. We had friends and family coming up to us all night saying that it was one of the most fun weddings they have been to. We attribute a huge part of that to Todd and Dance Trax. The music was fun and just the right volume. The sound quality wasn’t all distorted or washed out. And Todd did a great job of directing guests, coordinating around events like first dance, cake cutting, etc. I cannot recommend him enough.

We loved working with Todd! The experience was flawless and was tailored to exactly what we pictured. He is very professional, flexible, and made our day so memorable. 10/10 recommend!

Out of all the compliments we received about our wedding, Todd was at the top of the list! The dance floor was packed ALL night, the intros were spot on and hyped, and everything was kept perfectly on schedule. So many guests of all ages complimented us about our DJ choice! Would recommend Todd for any event! Was awesome to work with and wants to make sure you have the best experience possible. 10/10 recommend!

We met with Todd several times before our wedding day. Every time he was super professional and kind, making sure he understood us and our vision. On our wedding day we were even more impressed! We have been to so many weddings and I have to say Todd is the best! He really is an awesome MC and DJ! Everyone could hear speeches clearly, his lights added a fun and unique touch, and his music was the best part. He could read the room and had our guests dancing literally the entire time. We got so many compliments about him even weeks after and we couldn't agree more. He is very good at what he does and you can trust him with your wedding. You will not be disappointed! Highly recommend!

I can't say enough good things about working with Todd! I just got married October 14th, 2023 so we recently worked with him. Throughout the entire planning process he was super responsive and accommodating. I am a type A personality so I had put together an entire timeline of our wedding along with a list of songs to play and a do not play list. My husband likes grunge/Depeche Mode and I like Pop music- somehow Todd was able to play a good mix of everything that we wanted. I also had Persian music to mix in that I provided to Todd a few days before the wedding (my dad got it to me very last minute) and Todd had no issues with it.

My only complaint from my guests is that he played so many AMAZING songs back to back that they didn't have enough time to breathe because they wanted to dance to every song- what a great complaint from our guests!!! I also didn't have a typical Coordinator or Wedding Planner which put me in a really bad situation- there were a lot of things that were forgotten because I didn't have a lead person. Todd saw the gaps and stepped in to help me every step of the way. He is such a great person. Both my husband and I were honored to have him with us on our big day!

Looking for DJs can be really difficult and stressful. Take it from a 2023 Bride- JUST HIRE TODD. You won't be disappointed!
