We went with Erin George at The Cutting Edge salon in Frederick, MD. They were one of two salons who came highly recommended by our venue, and after having an appointment with them, we did not try the other place. I had an appointment with Erin to do a style to test them out, and when I said I was interested in doing hair for my wedding, they gave me all the information I needed. Their prices were very reasonable.

We did schedule another appointment with Erin before the wedding to try to test hair for my mother and a veil for myself. Unfortunately, I got sick that week and was not able to make the appointment. They were fine with it.

On the day of, Erin did my hair, my sister's, and my mom's. She wasn't actually supposed to do my mom's hair since she didn't really have the time, but at the last minute Erin fixed her hair since it was frizzy. Erin showed up right on time (actually my sister and I were a little late, she was early!) and worked very hard to make sure my hair was perfect and the veil and flower hairpiece stayed in. This was no easy feat, since I have short, fine hair. She worked to make sure the veil was comfortable and the right position I wanted. She also did a low updo for my sister that came out gorgeous. Erin was also fun to be with and was generally very helpful and awesome, it was just like hanging out with a friend.

We booked hair with them kind of at the last minute, it wasn't really that important to me at the time. I am so glad we went with this company and with Erin, and I would recommend her to anyone. Whoever could work with my crazy hair is worth it a hundred times over!
