Operating by appointment only, this bakery delivers to weddings throughout North Carolina, Virginia, and certain areas of South Virginia. Owner Danielle Nickens also happily offers a range of budget-friendly products, to suit every couple.

Services Offered

Curbside Cakery aspires to bring your vision for your wedding cake to life. Each cake is customized to your specifications and baked fresh to order. Cake tastings are offered for free, to help you discover which of their delicious flavors you want in your wedding cake. Some of these include French vanilla, lemon, and pumpkin, with buttercream icing in an array of flavors. As an added treat, this company sends a free cake to each couple on their first anniversary. Seamless experience

We couldn’t be happier with the wedding cake and cupcake tower that they created for our daughter’s wedding. The owner was incredibly easy to work with throughout the planning process, and adjusting our order once the final headcount came in was seamless. We were thrilled to find such a wonderful local option - reasonably priced, beautifully done, and absolutely delicious.

Taste? Amazing. Quality? Perfect! Cake overall? OMG is it good!

The cake was beautiful and baked perfectly! We got a two tiered red velvet cake that could feed all of our guests and then some. So thankful we did because now we have leftovers to share for another day!
Once the planning stage was over I knew choosing Curbside Cakery was the best decision. Danielle drew up a picture of what it would look like and it was spot on for what we had in mind. Very helpful for visual people like me! It was light and moist, the icing just the right amount of sweet. The delivery was seamless. Couldn't have asked for anything more!

Book Them! The cakes and desserts are amazing.

Curbside Cakery is amazing. Danielle made our wedding cake as well as some extra desserts (lemon bars and chocolate dipped rice crispy treats) . The pricing is good, and the customer service is above and beyond. We texted back and forth about the details, and Danielle even helped us look for cake toppers when we were struggling to find something we loved. When we wanted to add a personal touch/design, Danielle allowed us to send over a personal stencil that I created, and she tested it early to ensure it would work. It did and the wedding cake was perfect. Everything was delicious!
Curbside Cakery is not local to me, just our wedding venue, but after this experience, I would travel to work with them again. I highly recommend Curbside.

Amazing Bakery

My husband and I loved our wedding cake! It was exactly what we asked for and the flavors were amazing! There were so many compliments from our guests! Will definitely be ordering our future cakes from Danielle!

Lovely wedding cake

The cake was gorgeous. I mean so stunning. Not one thing went wrong. The tasting was so much fun and Danielle’s art for cake is amazing.

Better than the rest

Danielle is the absolute best at what she does. Our cake was not only beautiful but delicious and the cupcakes were little bites of heavenly goodness. I can’t wait to order again for a sweet 16

The most delicious cakes!

We hired Danielle to do 6 cakes for us for our wedding in lieu of one cake and it was the best decision we made! Each cake was SO GOOD and we had guests raving for weeks. The variety was amazing, she even made a dairy free chocolate cake for my dad that he said was the best he’s had. Danielle was so easy to work with and communicate with as well and even went so far as to deliver our cakes way out of her way. Every cake we tried was absolutely to die for!

Yummy and beautiful wedding cake

We had Curbside Cakery as our baker for our wedding at Castle McCulloch on November 16, 2021, and we HIGHLY recommend them! They were assigned because they were included in the intimate wedding package. We got to pick the flavor cake and icing, and it was AWESOME! We got Brown Cinnamon Sugar with American Buttercream frosting. Absolutely beautiful and yummy cake.
