Cristina is too wonderful for words! She is an absolute joy to work with and her photos are beyond stunning. Neither my husband nor I have any idea what we’re doing in front of a camera, and Cristina could not have been kinder or more patient with us during both our engagement photos and wedding day. We brought along our dog for our engagement photos, and Cristina never batted an eye during his less-than-cooperative moments. She made the engagement photo session a complete breeze and so much fun from start to finish. Her partner, Constantin, joined for the wedding day, and they made the most incredible photography duo. They captured all the important moments and ensured that we got every last photo we wanted. They also handled corralling everyone for large family photos in an extremely timely and orderly fashion. They’re both so lovely, fun to work with, and take the most incredibly beautiful photos! I could not recommend Cristina (and Constantin!) more highly.

Cristina and Konstantin are a DREAM! Choosing the right photographer was so critical to us as we knew these photographs were how we would reflect on our big day. Once we saw Cristina's portfolio, we were hooked and knew we had to have them! Not only are they the sweetest, but they were so tentative to the bridal party as well as our family and friends. Their experience and expertise made our day so seamless and comfortable! From fanning out my dress and veil, to suit adjusting and hair fluffing, these two really do it all to make sure that every shot is perfect. Since the day we received our photos, we have not stopped staring at them! They make us laugh and cry the happiest tears as we are reliving some of the happiest moments of our lives. The way that Cristina and Konstantin captured the most candid moments is something we will truly cherish forever!! These two will always hold a special place in our hearts and we would recommend them over and over again!

When we first started searching for a wedding photographer in Chicago, we were overwhelmed, as there are so many options. However, Cristina’s portfolio quickly caught our attention. Specifically, we noticed her nighttime portraits and the excitement and energy that each one captured. I had never seen photos that were so beautiful. After speaking with her and looking over her packages, we knew that she was the one.

There are so many wonderful things to say about Cristina, so this post will be a little long. But most importantly (to me), Cristina is incredibly responsive. Before and after the wedding, she responded to each of my emails within 24 hours, no matter how small or silly the question. She was always kind, straight-forward, and patient.

A few months before our wedding, I saw in one of her Instagram posts that Cristina offers hybrid (film + digital) packages. Since our venue was very romantic and garden-esque, we knew that we wanted to benefit of both mediums. It was one of the best decisions that we made in the wedding planning process. Obviously, everyone knows that Cristina’s digital images look as if they were taken straight out of a high fashion magazine, but to me, her film images are even more beautiful. She was able to capture such vibrant colors and soft images. I honestly can’t stop staring them.

Also, I can’t imagine that our day would have run as smoothly with any other photographer. Cristina kept everyone on schedule. My day-of coordinator actually told us that she was one of the best photographers that she’s worked with.

After the wedding, we received so many photos, and I’m not exaggerating when I say that I love all of them. We have so many images perfect for printing and hanging, but she also captured our guests and our interactions with them. I think many people underestimate how meaningful those photos end up being. We are able to look back and see our family and friends enjoying themselves on the dance floor, and we weren’t able to enjoy all of those moments on our wedding day, as we were so busy mingling. I look back at the photos, and they take me right back to that day.

And finally, we ordered our wedding album and parent albums through Cristina. That process was seamless, and we are blown away by the quality of the albums. (I’ve actually had five people reach out to me to ask where I had them made.)

If we had to do it again, we should choose Cristina and her team every time! They are simply the best of the best!

Cristina was one of the first vendors we hired after we got engaged and am SO happy that we did. She was super helpful and amazing to work with before the wedding. On the wedding day she knew what she was doing and had such an artistic vision for all of the pictures. She was also able to wrangle our big families to make family portraits run efficiently. She helped place my dress for each of the photos and made sure everyone was posed correctly. Konstantine was the 2nd shooter at our wedding and he was amazing as well. 200% would recommend Cristina G to anyone getting married that really wants good quality pretty pictures.

Christina was amazing!!! We are so thankful we found her and our family pictures turned out beautiful!. The whole process was easy going and painless and even our teenage boys had a good time. I feel like I found a friend in her and we will definitely be using Christina again. I can’t say enough good things about the quality, professionalism, and overall experience. Awesome!

I don’t even know where to start this glowing review of Cristina G Photography. My husband and I hired Cristina over a year ago to do our engagement photos and then our wedding this past March. From our first meeting with Cristina we knew she was the one. She made us feel comfortable and confident that she would guide us through some posed photos but also capture those special candid moments of our big day and most importantly, she acted as excited to be a part of our wedding as we were. She made us feel like our wedding day was incredibly important to her, not just because we are her clients but because she understood that these photos would serve as memories documenting one of the best days of our lives for years and years to come. Her excitement and professionalism made her very easy to trust with one of the most important aspects of our big day. We are two people not very comfortable in front of the camera but she helped us be as prepared as possible with her guidance around everything from outfits to hair and makeup to locations for our engagement photos and our big day. Our engagement photos were RIDICULOUS! I can’t tell you how many people described them as they best they’ve ever seen. She captured our love beautifully but also guided us to iconic locations and beautiful backdrops in the city where we fell in love and started our lives together (Chicago). The photos from our wedding day are even more stunning and every single scenario we wanted was captured from high impact scenic shots in downtown Chicago to candid shots of our families on the dancefloor. Her signature champagne shot at the end of the night is MANDATORY for all couples (not by her, I’m just saying you’re crazy if you don’t do it)! It is the MOST joyful and happy photo from our wedding day, I can’t look at it without breaking into a smile and maybe even a few happy tears. Thank you Cristina!

Cristina G photographed our wedding on June 24, 2017. She was one of the first vendors we booked because she came so highly regarded by so many people and all I can say is, I couldn't be happier!! She is truly an incredible photographer with an awesome personality. All you have to do is look on her Instagram and blog to see how amazing her photography is, and I can vouch that the photos she showed us were absolutely incredible!! However, it's not just her amazing photography that makes her the best choice, it's her personality!! She was amazing to work with - so organized, friendly, and easy to get a long with. She did an awesome job of coordinating our 16-person bridal party - which was no easy task. I would recommend her fully without hesitation and I would re-hire her in a second. She was worth every penny and we will treasure her photos forever.

Cristina G. is simply amazing. She is extraordinarily talented and we cannot have imagined any other photographer making our wedding day as special as she did. We just received our professional photos and are simply in awe – she captured our day perfectly and we could not be happier! The first call I had with her was a very detailed call to go over pricing, what to expect in the packages, and what to expect from her throughout the process. I had full trust in her that she would take gorgeous photos, and she did just that! We took our engagement photos in September 2015 which was a perfect opportunity to get to know Cristina and her photography style in advance of the wedding. Sometimes taking posed photos can be awkward but not at all with her. We felt comfortable and she captured great moments, especially with our French Bulldog! A couple weeks before our wedding, she sent a short questionnaire which was a good way to get any feedback from me on what must have photos we want with family and guests. Also, a side note that Cristina is very quick at responding to emails and calls which is a plus in the wedding planning world! When wedding day arrived, Cristina and her associate Konstantin were there while we were still getting ready. It was great to have both of them there to split between bridal room and groom's room. They were both extremely professional and were also so easy to be around. The day went so smoothly and they captured countless gorgeous moments. Our wedding photos came in about 7 weeks after the wedding, and let's just say I cried for a while when looking through them. The poses, the settings, the angles, everything was just perfect, and the special moments they captured are just stunning! Cristina is not only an amazing photographer but she is a really great person. She cares for her clients and is genuinely so excited to take photos for your special day. You will not be disappointed if you book Cristina for your photographer!

It has taken me awhile to write this review because I could not decide how to best approach it and give Cristina the proper outstanding review she deserves. Words cannot express how wonderful it was to work with her and the pure magic she works with the camera. Cristina was HANDS DOWN the best vendor I hired for our wedding this past May (2016). I have received the most marvelous complements about our wedding photos and she captured beautiful memories that we can cherish for the rest of our lives. We used her for both our engagement photos and wedding photos-- we couldn't have been happier. The planning process with Cristina went very smoothly. She is a pro and knew what questions to ask to be extremely organized for the big day. Another plus was that she kept us more on schedule than the day of coordinator we hired and made sure we received all the shots we wanted. I have attached some of our pictures. There is a certain softness and elegance to them that I do not always see in other photographers' work (considering it is now wedding season and everyone is posting their pictures). It is hard to describe but the quality is evident. She has a great eye for details as well as the beauty and unique moments of each wedding she shoots. She becomes personally invested in each wedding she shoots and her compassion for what she does shows in her work. I know this review is really gushy and corny but honestly, the pictures speak for themselves. Do your research but you will find that Cristina's work is one of the best in Chicago. My husband and I will definitely be recommending her to our closest family and friends!
