I first contacted Creatve Forte after seeing their beautiful tablescapes and floral walls on Instagram. From my wife, and I first meeting with Ms. Shernita Munson( owner, designer) we were sold on and excited about working with her. She was very comfortable with meeting and working with a same sex couple, respected that we were working with a very small budget and listened to our thoughts and ideas. During all of the times prior to our wedding Shernita was available to us by email or text messages, she did not balk when at one of our last meetings i had a change in the vision that we started with. When i say Creative Forte and Ms. Munson delivered, they knocked it completely out of the ballpark. Our wedding guests and even venue personnel raved and continue to rave on our tables, our sweetheart table, as well as the sign she made for our 3 year old son that announced i was coming down the aisle.

It was an absolute pleasure working with Creative Forte. The giant papers flowers MADE the dessert buffet really POP! The detail was amazing!!

Shernita was wonderful. We're so glad that we booked her for the day of coordinator. She really helped to take a lot of the pressure off my shoulders and ran everything behind the scenes.

She was very good at staying organized! She was our liaison to the vendors which proved to be invaluable. We work full time and we usually didn't have the chance to call the vendors during business hours. I also felt more comfortable talking to Shernita about our wishes because we knew that she would communicate that information to the vendors quickly, clearly and professionally -- it was like talking to a friend. She's very knowledgeable and easy to work with.

Communication was great, she would respond to emails quickly (usually later in the day if not sooner), and always returned calls. For the week prior to the wedding we set up a time at which she would call me everyday to remind me of what needed to be done, what she had done, and how things were progressing. That really helped me get organized, because I KNOW I would have waited until the last minute to do everything.

I feel that she went above and beyond what was expected. We had a little bit of a gap between the ceremony and the reception (traditional catholic gap) so Shernita suggested that we make a list of tourist attractions in Old Town Alexandria that could keep our guests entertained before the reception. She took it upon herself to make the little inserts with this information, and put them in the programs the night prior. The day of the wedding she didn't just get up and leave once her time was up, she stayed with us and saw the whole wedding through, ceremony to reception! That, to me, was a sure sign of dedication to one's clients and practice.

She was worth every penny and we would definitely recommend her to anyone that needs a planner.

All I can say is my event was spectacular and it was all because of the creative insight and fortitude of Shernita. She planned and executed my event down to the very minor details, certainly things I would have overlooked. She is pleasant and easy to work with. Her staff is professional and knowledgeable. I would recommend her to anybody and I will definitely use her for my future annual events.

Shernita is a wunderkid. Having tried to do it all myself I realized the week and day of were to be relinquished to someone else. We found that Shernita was, right from the get go, extremely responsive, I never had to wander where she was and managed to make me feel like she was in control, without being controlling. She took on every aspect of our reception coordination enthusiastically, methodically and with grace. She worked extremely well with our other vendors, and managed to pick up on the details in a short period of time. I loved that she was so communicative, even to offer support and encouragement on the day of (and the day after!) She was flexible, calm and ready to deliver at a moments notice - I highly recommend Shernita for any size job or task - many more people should consider her and her services, they are a blessing to any bride to be.

Shernita and her assistant were amazing. They executed my wedding day with flawless precision and was a true professional.

I had been DIY-ing my wedding from the very beginning and soon realized that I would not have anyone to help execute my vision on the actual day! What I liked about Shernita is her consistent follow through. I am an email maniac, but I liked that she also made the initial personal contact by reaching out via phone and talking to me personally. She is pleasant, warm, professional and was truly excited about working with me!

Her range of expertise is amazing, she is well organized and help me remember things throughout the last stages of my DIY planning process. She and her assistant did an excellent job seeing through my wedding day and are the divas of "On-the-fly" fixes.

Without her help, I don't know what I would have done. I highly recommend her services to anyone considering a Wedding Planning or Day-Of coordinator.

From the moment we met at the site visit, Shernita's professionalism had been excellent. She was highly attentive to my needs for the wedding. Her aesthetic and financial creativity blew me away. She was always accessible ,especially during the days prior to the wedding.

As for the day of the wedding, every guest that talked to me about the reception in the church social hall told me how amazingly beautiful it was.
