Where do I even begin.....
-bought my ring and had it sized... was the type of ring that SHOULD NOT be sized (now I know this) and, as the jeweler, they should have known this (was a tension set diamond ring)
-they were supposed to fedex it to me (paid extra for this)... they forgot
-I finally drive over there to pick it up (1+ hrs away)... one diamond is spinning in the setting so they have to keep it to fix it
-I pick it up again and take it home... it sits in the box until my wedding
-I wear it TWO days and a diamond falls out on my honeymoon (miraculously we found the diamond)
-I take it back to the jeweler... they CHARGE me to put it back in the setting and were very defensive and rude ("we don't guarantee any of our work")
-a diamond falls out again while I'm at work (lost for good this time)
-I take it to a reputable jeweler to inquire about getting a new diamond put back in... they inspect it and find that 3 of the 4 remaining diamonds are loose and advise me not to wear it until the setting has extensive repair... they also verify that it should NOT have been sized

One year later and I'm still bitter... I've since purchased a different wedding band. Had I bought my engagement ring here I would probably picket in front of this store. The sleazy salesman I dealt with every time with still works there. >:-(

HORRIBLE. They nearly ruined my engagement ring! My ring literally fell apart a month after I got it. The stones (multiple) just started falling out at random. They said they would repair it, had it for THREE MONTHS - three months it was not on my finger - and made such a mess of it that people literally across the room said, "oh my, what happened to your ring?!" there was sauter EVERYWHERE, covering some stones completely and they switched out one of my diamonds with a shoddy one full of black streaks. They DID replace my diamond with a good color/clarity when I brought the switch to their attention. However, they refused to refund the price of the ring THEY destroyed. And I was NOT the only person in that store each week to "pick it up" (or rather to send it back because they kept damaging it) who was upset with a terrible repair job - OR whose ring fell apart in weeks. I filed a complaint with BBB and I took my ring to another jeweler who was able to repair the damage. CR Jewelers should be out of business.
