Our friend who was supposed to officiate pulled out last minute and Corey stepped in with less than 48 hours notice, wrote us a beautiful speech and performed a fantastic ceremony.

We aren't a normal couple and we were really nervous about hiring someone since we sooo didn't want a churchy feeling--Corey was the perfect fit. She was creative enough to make my partner and I feel comfortable, and charming and warm enough to impress my mom-- not easy to do !! Would totally recommend her !!

PRO TIP: HIRE A POET FOR YOUR WEDDING! She makes everything sound beautiful, even the silly every day mishaps. We could not have been in better hands

Corey made our wedding the fairytale my wife had always dreamed of. She asked all the right questions to get just the right material and brought in readings that were so perfect for us. My wife framed her speech to put in our bedroom.

We had eleven days to find a new celebrant when the one we had contracted with 18 months earlier cancelled due to family emergency. Our wedding crisis was averted when we met Corey after a colleague who had known her in college recommended her to us. Corey was so confident and capable, but also warm and kind, our fears were assuaged immediately and our own confidence returned. We met with her a few times together and individually for Corey to get to know us, our histories and hopes, our anecdotes and anxieties. These meetings were very positive and despite the pressure we were under, even fun! So late in the planning, we already had made the decisions about our celebrant’s role, but Corey added new perspective. She had excellent ideas for readings and designed a ceremony that was perfect —engaging, loving, and charming. We could not have been happier with Corey’s participation in our wedding. What started out as a potential disaster turned out to be complete serendipity!

COREY SAVED OUR BIG DAY! Covid threw such a wrench in our plans--our original officiant pulled out a few weeks before and then our reception decorator got covid 2 days before. Corey jumped in, wrote and delivered a gorgeous ceremony and also made all the decor happen and look gorgeous for our reception. We owe her our first born!!!
