She's professional, supportive, detail-oriented, responsive, and just down right amazing. When I had to find a new planner about six weeks before my wedding, a friend recommended Andrea.
She hit the ground running and really helped us pull our wedding day vision into a reality. We had a very large multi-cultural wedding at a non-traditional venue (the Exploratorium), and I made almost all of our decor items by hand.
Andrea ensured that all of our family and guests were happy and taken care of while also ensuring that all of my intricate DIY pieces were executed exactly as I had envisioned them. I am very detail oriented and have very high expectations, and I never once worried with Andrea on board.
Andrea is the type of planner you can trust unconditionally. She has impeccable taste and is on top of every aspect of the wedding. I got countless comments from my guests and other vendors on how impressed they were by Andrea's professionalism and overall awesomeness.
I would recommend Coquette Events to any bride who wants to have a magical, stress-free day. I can't thank Andrea enough for going above and beyond to ensure that our wedding day was everything we'd ever dreamed of.
At the end of the evening on our wedding day, my husband even pulled Andrea aside to tell her that he had been originally skeptical about the value of planners, but that she had definitely made him a believer!!!

As we were planning a wedding in California while living in Washington DC, we were very certain from the start that we would need a wedding coordinator to help us plan and carry out our wedding. From participating in other people's weddings, I knew from experience how crazy and intense it can be to plan your own wedding. I wanted none of that!
From our first meeting with Coquette to the day after the wedding, Jamie and Andrea were there for us when we needed them. From the very beginning, both were very responsive and answered all of my emails. We held pretty regular three-way conference calls as we were all in different locations (at the time Andrea was living in NYC), where they could answer all of our questions and provide us with plenty of suggestions and advice. It is amazing how many details go into planning a wedding, and these two left no stone unturned. As the wedding day approached, Jamie and Andrea went into overdrive, helping us with last minute details and putting together a very detailed timeline for the wedding day. They also took over working with all the vendors and confirmed times and locations. It felt amazing to turn everything over to them and not worry about anything.
On the day of the wedding, both girls showed up bright and early and ready to go. Everyone was so shocked at how surprisingly calm I was all day. Although I had read over the timeline, not having to know the exact details of it was such a relief. I really didn't have to worry about a thing and basically went wherever I was told. I LOOVED it!! No matter how much preparation you put into planning the big day, a couple bumps here and there are due to happen. Luckily, Jamie and Andrea took care of everything and I really knew nothing of these little setbacks until the day after. One of our groomsmen did not try on his tuxedo, and found out that morning that the arms of his jacket had been shortened considerably. Luckily, Andrea was totally ready! She whipped out her hem ripper, re-sewed and ironed new sleeve hems for him. You couldn't tell a thing! We also had an issue with our florist being late. Without Jamie and Andrea stepping in and working extra hard to make up for their tardiness, we would never have been able to stick to the planned timeline for the evening. Again, I had no clue this was going on and I was able to completely enjoy the day without any worries. Our wedding was awesome and Jamie and Andrea were a big part of that!

Our wedding took place at Castle Green in Pasadena, CA and initially we had planned it all out on our own with a day of schedule broken down into 15 min. increments. We had it covered and were telling our friends and family about the schedule and the responsibilities we delegated to them. A common response was – Wow, this is so detailed from morning wedding prep makeup to wedding decoration and set-up at the ceremony site and reception hall. BUT who have you asked to be your overall wedding coordinator? We were introduced to Coquette Events through my coworker and after reviewing them on Wedding Wire, we verified they were highly rated and respected by numerous clients. After speaking with Andrea and Jamie, I felt at ease. They were super professional while still being pleasantly friendly and very responsive to all my emails and phone calls. I was surprised how many little details I did not capture on my multiple spreadsheets and schedules and blueprints for the BIG day. They worked with us to fine tune our vision of the ideal wedding. As event coordination is second nature to them, their experience was a godsend for our wedding. The planning and prepwork was more than I imagined for just 1 day, but it’s a very important day and I’m glad I asked for help.
On the day of, even though I thought we had captured everything in my revised schedules and planning docs, there were some things that would have sent me into a worried state. The last thing a bride should do is worry about the sequence of events for the wedding day- Leave it to the pros, and enjoy the day. I did, and when the little surprises arose as weddings are never perfect, Coquette Events jumped in and their troubleshooting skills saved the day. One example: when the slideshow began (which we worked so hard on) the speakers went out. The mics and speakers were tested right before the reception and were working all the way up until the slideshow. My husband and I panicked and were so disappointed the songs which we so carefully crafted to match each photo sequence were not audible. The DJ stopped the slideshow to fix the speakers, however the photographer was on the clock and we were coming down to the last 15 min. As we were on a schedule and things were not going smoothly, Coquette Events decided to proceed with the show and place a mic near the speakers that were working to conduct the music throughout the reception hall. It wasn’t as we had planned, but it was the best that could be done. Our guests heard the music in conjunction with the slideshow and were delighted with the memories we shared- Many thanks to Andrea and Jamie for all your help at the wedding, your improvised fixes to our technical issues, and most of all coming through at the wedding with all the little details. You gals made things look effortless and we really really really couldn’t have done it without you. I’ve been getting contact inquiries for “the fabulous wedding coordinators” from a couple of my guests too! Keep up the amazing work.
