Using this facility was good because we got to use the entire building for different aspects of our jewish wedding. It helps, because there are a lot of stages of the event that need separate places. If you bring in an outside officiant, make the boundaries very clear for what you need the synagogue to provide and to what extent you are just using the location. It is more affordable to have a wedding in a non-hotel location, just make sure the agreements are clear.
