Banquet Hall Wedding Venues in Portland

We had our wedding at the World Forestry Center's Miller Hall in September 2021. The venue was absolutely gorgeous, reasonably priced, and a great location. The staff (specifically Angie) at WFC are so easy to work with. Angie was very accommodating with all of our questions and changes. We were so happy we chose the World Forestry Center for our wedding!

I'm a wedding planner and had the pleasure of planning a full wedding at Lakeside Gardens. The whole team was extremely easy to work with and communicated quickly and efficiently throughout the entire process. Noel was the on-site wedding day coordinator and was absolutely on top of everything! I don't typically get help on the wedding day, but having her there was amazing. By the time I noticed something that needed my attention, Noel was already on it. The whole wedding was gorgeous and I thoroughly enjoyed my experience.

Everett west is a beautiful blank canvas. The space allows you to design what you want. The windows bring in a lovely amount of light, and with the courtyard, you have the ability to move freely from inside to outside. The staff is professional, knowledgeable and will help create an amazing experience. I cant recommend Everett West enough!

Blockhouse and Pomarius Nursery were incredible and the venue itself is beautiful, somehow even more so in person than in pictures if you're able to believe that. The staff were incredible and we appreciated the easy and clear communication the whole way through, and even their resident chicken, named Strawberry, contributed by leading my bride down the aisle. Overall, Blockhouse exceeded our expectations and our only regret is that we can't do it again and again.

We couldn't have imagined a better place for our wedding than Castaway Portland. From the moment we chose the venue, we knew it was the perfect space for the celebration we envisioned, and seeing everything come together on our wedding day completely exceeded our expectations. The venue itself is absolutely beautiful and has so much character. We loved having the freedom to make the space our own, and it was incredible to see our vision come to life. Everything from the ceremony to cocktail hour and the reception flowed so naturally, and there was plenty of room for our guests to mingle, dance, and enjoy the night. The Castaway team was wonderful to work with throughout the entire process. They were professional, helpful, and made everything feel organized leading up to the wedding and on the day itself. Having a team we could trust made such a difference and allowed us to actually be present and enjoy our wedding. Our guests are still telling us how much they loved the venue and how beautiful and unique the space was. Castaway was the perfect backdrop for one of the best days of our lives, and we are so grateful we chose it. We would absolutely recommend Castaway to anyone looking for a beautiful, versatile, and memorable wedding venue in Portland!

Polaris Hall was the perfect wedding venue for my daughter. We really appreciated how easy it was to work with Leslie, how quick she was to respond to questions and help us (we were extra pesky because my daughter was out of the country, so there was a lot of back-and-forth during planning). I appreciated how upfront the costs were. Every other place we visited had hidden fees (for lights, for music, for outside catering, you name it). We had toyed with the idea of self-catering (so glad we didn't do that!), so it was really nice that we could reserve a spot and decide later about catering. We did end up adding two hours to the 8-hour rental, which gave the caterers plenty of time, and also meant it was easier for us to get in before the off-site ceremony to do a little decorating (twinkly lights on tables, flowers...) For the party, the layout is great. The kitchen is much bigger than many of the sites we visited, so the caterers like it (and if we had self-catered, it would have been a godsend). There are three extra rooms downstairs, the bar room, and the hallway--it made for a much more pleasant party. People who needed a quiet break could retreat to quiet spaces, and come back into the ballroom for cake or a little dancing. The ballroom is really quite lovely--our party started at 6 PM. When we arrived, sunlight was streaming in through the second-story ballroom windows. As the sun set, the chandeliers gave off a soft light. It was really just lovely. Our only complaint: We really wish they'd kept the old name, North Star Ballroom!

Picking the UC for our wedding venue was the best decision we made, hands down. The setting is beautiful and classic, all the people there are true professionals, and they made extra efforts - both big and small - to make our reception run perfectly. Our guests couldn't believe how great the servers were, and the whole place just exudes classiness. They worked with us to set up the club just as we would like it, and we spent hardly anything on decor and flowers since the place is already like a fully designed set. The food is good (though they did switch up the vegetarian option slightly without telling us), and having done a lot of research, I can vouch that their food and alcohol prices - which comes with professional wait staff and lovely china - are the best value in town. The only limiting factor is that they cannot accommodate larger weddings.

Vitalidad is a beautiful venue to host your wedding! Deblin was very helpful from start to finish. All communication was prompt. When we booked, tables and chairs were included in the overall price. Since it's a dance studio, the dance floor was great! The best in Portland. If you have a large guest list (we had 168 guests with 20 tables), you'll have to move tables and chairs to create the dance floor. Train tracks are right next to the venue so keep that in mind as it may interrupt your ceremony (it did for our's but our officiant was a pro and handled it well). You can use outside vendors and there's no noise ordinance so we had music going past 11 pm.
