Lakeside Gardens is set in a beautiful natural park like setting. We worked with Noel from the Lakeside staff. She was awesome! Kindra assisted Noel with our wedding. Lakeside Gardens support of my husband and me was beyond our expectations. Lakeside Gardens support of us as members of the LGBQT+ community was so important. Noel and the entire team made Aaron and me feel like family. Lakeside Gardens offers three bakers, three florists, multiple menus of food options and color schemes. Lakeside Gardens was the one stop wedding venue that we were looking for but had a hard time finding. If you are straight, LGBQT+, or something in-between, definitely meet with the Lakeside Gardens staff. Noel, Kindra and the other staff go above and beyond other venues. We toured 5 other venues; Lakeside Gardens beat them all!

Hosting our wedding at Blockhouse was one of the best decisions we made. The venue is stunning even as a blank slate, but seeing it come to life with our tables, chairs, and décor in place was an absolutely euphoric dream come true. The ambiance of Blockhouse, surrounded by lush greenery and tucked away in a private corner of NW Portland, felt both intimate and vibrant. The Blockhouse team was incredibly easy to work with and truly allowed us to make our wedding our own. We’re so grateful to have chosen this beautiful space and to have worked with such a supportive and kind staff.

The Baker Building was the PERFECT venue for our October 2025 wedding, and we couldn't recommend it more enthusiastically!! Jen and Mark were so easy and pleasant to work with, the vintage Portland space is gorgeous, and the open vendor policy helped keep our planning process super flexible. And on the Big Day, our guests were comfortable and had a fantastic time (and easy parking)! It was also really cool to talk to Mark about about the building's history in the neighborhood, and hear some of their plans for the future. Schedule a tour!!

I have nothing but positive things to say about the Castaway team. Very responsive and helpful and just a great group of people. You will absolutely not regret having your wedding here! If I could plan a wedding all over again I would pick castaway every time. A beautiful space that you can make your own and the best team to help guide you.

We had our wedding at the World Forestry Center's Miller Hall in September 2021. The venue was absolutely gorgeous, reasonably priced, and a great location. The staff (specifically Angie) at WFC are so easy to work with. Angie was very accommodating with all of our questions and changes. We were so happy we chose the World Forestry Center for our wedding!

Polaris Hall was the perfect wedding venue for my daughter. We really appreciated how easy it was to work with Leslie, how quick she was to respond to questions and help us (we were extra pesky because my daughter was out of the country, so there was a lot of back-and-forth during planning). I appreciated how upfront the costs were. Every other place we visited had hidden fees (for lights, for music, for outside catering, you name it). We had toyed with the idea of self-catering (so glad we didn't do that!), so it was really nice that we could reserve a spot and decide later about catering. We did end up adding two hours to the 8-hour rental, which gave the caterers plenty of time, and also meant it was easier for us to get in before the off-site ceremony to do a little decorating (twinkly lights on tables, flowers...) For the party, the layout is great. The kitchen is much bigger than many of the sites we visited, so the caterers like it (and if we had self-catered, it would have been a godsend). There are three extra rooms downstairs, the bar room, and the hallway--it made for a much more pleasant party. People who needed a quiet break could retreat to quiet spaces, and come back into the ballroom for cake or a little dancing. The ballroom is really quite lovely--our party started at 6 PM. When we arrived, sunlight was streaming in through the second-story ballroom windows. As the sun set, the chandeliers gave off a soft light. It was really just lovely. Our only complaint: We really wish they'd kept the old name, North Star Ballroom!

This venue is gorgeous! There are so many options for a wedding ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception within the many spaces and rooms. The small side alley is super unique as well. Natalia, and Meagan on the catering side, have been very helpful, friendly, and communicative throughout our planning process and postponement. Our initial wedding date was June 2020, and Natalia made the shift to a new date extremely smooth.

Picking the UC for our wedding venue was the best decision we made, hands down. The setting is beautiful and classic, all the people there are true professionals, and they made extra efforts - both big and small - to make our reception run perfectly. Our guests couldn't believe how great the servers were, and the whole place just exudes classiness. They worked with us to set up the club just as we would like it, and we spent hardly anything on decor and flowers since the place is already like a fully designed set. The food is good (though they did switch up the vegetarian option slightly without telling us), and having done a lot of research, I can vouch that their food and alcohol prices - which comes with professional wait staff and lovely china - are the best value in town. The only limiting factor is that they cannot accommodate larger weddings.
