We engaged Colonial Gardens to host a small, intimate, wedding for about 50 guests. First off, this venue is incredibly beautiful. We fell in love with the lush, romantic and natured infused vibe of this space. There are flowers and plants everywhere that served as a gorgeous backdrop for our wedding, which also allowed us to keep our decor very simple, and keep additional flowers to a minimum without compromising lush and colorful surroundings. The lights under the cypress trees add to the romantic ambience on a summer night. While our wedding was held on a warm summer evening, the constant breeze from the surrounding open space made things so comfortable, as did the fans the venue set up to keep air flow. It was magical and comfortable.

The event planner was top notch, thinking of everything during our planning so that we had an exceptional event. And the staff was so incredibly warm, friendly, accommodating, and welcoming, making our guests feel so special. The evening moved along so smoothly. They are also dog friendly, not only accommodating our yellow lab, who played a role in our ceremony, but also loving on him throughout the reception as he made the rounds to all our guests and staff.

There were so many places to capture stunning photos and so many unique spaces in this venue. We had room for our ceremony, dining, yard games, a bar, and other open space for socializing and visiting. It felt open yet intimate. Our guests raved about how beautiful and magical our wedding was in this backdrop!

Lastly, I have to shout out their signature cocktails, which were extraordinary, and they altered to mocktails for many of our guests. They were unique and really brought that elevated farm to market feel that we loved.

I would highly recommend this venue to anyone considering a smaller wedding.
