A life-saver
Wonderful!
Incredible day-of coordinator
Even though I had done tons of research, there were obviously details about the wedding day that I had no expertise on, and Elizabeth always had excellent and pertinent suggestions to make the day the best it could be.
We had a nightmare during the wedding day - our cake baker ghosted us. Elizabeth and her assistant spent a lot of time calling the baker until she finally answered her phone with an excuse for why she wouldn't be delivering the cake, and implemented a solution, keeping us in the dark until the end of the night. Her assistant bought enough cake at Whole Foods to serve everyone AND for us to have a cake-cutting ceremony, which is no small feat if you think about the distance between Chabot Space & Science Center and Whole Foods!
That ended up being one of the best gifts we received, as none of the stress about the missing cake ever could come up for me as I was none the wiser!
With large events, things usually go wrong, so you want someone there to be your problem-solver. Elizabeth is that person, trust!

We had a complicated situation with our wedding, causing our ceremony/cocktail hour and reception to be split across 2 venues. This created a logistical nightmare for our wedding, but Elizabeth coordinated it all perfectly!
Leading up to our wedding, Elizabeth helped us prepare a detailed timeline for our big day. She helped us fill in the gaps with things we had missed or not thought about much. Elizabeth also reached out to all of our vendors the week before our wedding to tie up any loose ends and ensure that everyone was on the same page. We had been juggling communications with our many vendors, but this e-mail eased our stress levels and made us feel comfortable fully passing off the logistics and coordination of our wedding to Elizabeth.
The day before our wedding, Elizabeth took charge of our wedding rehearsal. She did a great job taking control of our group of ~20 people participating in the rehearsal. Our officiant sent her the script, and Elizabeth took it from there. It quickly became clear that she had done many of these before. It was efficiently run, and multiple people participating in it expressed how impressed they were with Elizabeth and their confidence in her to make the wedding day go smoothly.
On the day of our wedding, Elizabeth coordinated everything beautifully. We were both able to go hands off as Elizabeth took the reigns and navigated us and our vendors through our special day. There were multiple times throughout the wedding day where we went to ask Elizabeth questions, only to find that she was a step ahead of us and had already taken care of our concerns. Between our two venues and limited set up time, we knew it was more than a little chaotic- Elizabeth completely shielded us from that so we were able to fully enjoy our day. A specific thing Elizabeth did that really impressed us was working with our dessert vendor to adjust their serving time. Our schedule of events was running a bit behind, but Elizabeth worked with them to push back the serving time so it didn't conflict with anything else on our timeline. This all happened behind the scenes without us having to think or worry about it.
We were both impressed with how Elizabeth coordinated our many vendors across 2 venues. She and her assistant made our day stress free and flowing smoothly- we have gotten so many compliments on our wedding and know that's a result of Elizabeth's hard work! Elizabeth helped us in too many other ways to list, and we would definitely recommend Coco Creations to anyone planning a wedding.
Wedding on 11/05/22
When my husband and I decided to postpone our wedding to November 2022, we knew we had to hire Elizabeth for our big day, but this time as a full service wedding coordinator. Elizabeth made the planning process easy and stress free. We were able to get everything in order in less than 6 months! She made great vendor recommendations and helped maintain communication with all my vendors leading up to the big day.
Elizabeth was amazing throughout the planning process and even more amazing on the day of rehearsal and the big day. She worked hard to make sure everything flowed seamlessly and kept track of all the details on the day of. My wedding day was as stress-free as possible all thanks to her. Elizabeth was very responsive and easy to reach out to. She is very professional, thoughtful and has been in the business for years. Her prices are fair and she has many glowing reviews, which made us feel very comfortable in hiring her. I am fairly organized and love planning events, but when Elizabeth saw what I had done, she asked us so many thoughtful questions I didn’t even think of. She really proved to us that you DO need to hire a Day-of-Coordinator, and she was the right one for the job!
A few days before our event, I somehow got covid. I was extremely anxious, upset and canceling/postponing the event was not an option. Elizabeth gave me great advice on how to handle informing the guests, and fortunately only a few people dropped out and one vendor backed out (makeup). I wanted to help with the setup but couldn’t anymore, so I had my Maid of Honor work with Elizabeth at the last minute, and everything turned out better than I imagined! We were very lucky that our reception still continued on, it was outdoor, and though we had to cut out the mother/father dancing, everyone had a great time!

We live out of town, and we were able to be in Santa Cruz a few months prior to the wedding to get some things taken care of and Elizabeth met up with us at both the reception and ceremony sites to make sure the plan was making sense and that she had a handle on where things were going. Elizabeth was quick to respond to any questions, always available to chat, had great questions we didn't think about and was an overall fantastic guide on this wild DIY wedding ride.
Pulling off an event for ~100 people is a huge endeavor and you will really be pleased to have Elizabeth there to help you. She went above and beyond and we are sure that there were some fires behind the scenes that she helped put out. On our wedding day, even though we knew there was a lot to juggle, we were really happy to have Elizabeth on our team.
I don't know how we would have made it happen without her help, there are so many more things to coordinate than I had realized when we first started planning our wedding. We had no idea what we were fully getting into, and Elizabeth made it go more smoothly than it would have otherwise.
She was great at giving guidance and suggestions, every conversation we had with her was completely comfortable and she even made time to chat with us when it was a bit late the night before the wedding as we had spent all day (plus every day for a few solid weeks leading up to the big day) in preparation mode, to go over some details with setting up. We would highly recommend reaching out to Elizabeth, she is an expert and great to work with.
