Amazing Wedding Venue
We recently held our wedding at Mavericks Event Center and were just thrilled with the whole experience: the venue, the food, the coordination services are all top notch. Lisa Graye, the MEC Event Manager, helped us every step of the way, patiently answering our every question, remembering all the plans and details, fielding vendor questions and just making everything go seamlessly. We had a group of about 60, with quite a few activities and vendors, so it could easily have been chaos for us to manage, but Lisa's calm, can-do demeanor and A-plus organization made it so easy and fun for us. Highly recommend, and so grateful to Lisa and the rest of the team for going above and beyond to allow us to create some wonderful memories with our friends and family. One word of advice: we had a lovely warm sunny October day, and the upstairs of the Event Center gets pretty warm, even with the windows open. If you're planning to spend much time up there (we did not), it would be good to dress accordingly.Sent on 10/29/2018

My husband and I held our wedding at the Mavericks Event Center on June 10th, 2017. From the initial meeting at one of their open houses, the team was absolutely amazing. I met with Jodie and Melanie to confirm our date and make general decisions over several months, and then Lisa Graye took over to finalize all the details. Jodie and Melanie were extremely accommodating and communicative, and then Lisa ensured all our needs and concerns were addressed. During the rehearsal, Lisa was just lovely with my family, she helped us to organize our ceremony schedule (we needed it!), and answered all our last minute questions. On the day of the wedding day, she made sure everything was accounted for. I was also so impressed with the staff who were professional, welcoming, and on top of food, drinks, lighting and transitions throughout the entire event. The ceremony grounds were neat and clean, the event center was beautifully arranged, and the schedule went seamlessly! All I had to worry about at our wedding was my vows and spending as much time as I could with our guests.Sent on 06/17/2017
The beer is from the Half Moon Bay Brew Co, which owns this venue. Their beer is excellent and such a treat to offer to our guests. We chose to bring in our own wine and the corkage fee was very reasonable.
The only area of improvement was the dinner, though this was fully addressed. Full disclosure - My husband is a Chef so we have high expectations, and several of our guests were Chefs as well! Fortunately, when we shared our concerns, we were offered a second tasting, and Mavericks Chef graciously met with us to review all our changes and recommendations. The day of the wedding, the food was even better than our second tasting, and many of our guests commented on how much they enjoyed their meal, as did we!
I am so thankful to the staff at Mavericks Event Center for helping us to realize our vision for our wedding day.

My Wife and I got married at the Maverick Event center last weekend 7/11 and the experience could not have been any better. From the day we booked the venue we had tremendous support from all of the team there. Melanie helped us with our initial visit and questions as well as the tasting, then Luciana took over about with the final details as the date was getting closer. We did not hire a wedding planner and were doing a lot of the planning and organizing on our own and were blown away the support we got from the team not only leading up to the date but the day of, to us it felt as if we had a wedding planner with us the whole time. Luciana and Felipe took care of all our worries and stresses and allowed us to really enjoy our wedding. From things like setting up the tables and settings the night before to a very quick yet professional breakdown of tables after dinner to make room for dancing everything was done with a smile and as a collaborative effect.
We booked this venue for a large part due to how beautiful of a venue it is but couldn't be more happy with how the day went and the support we got from the team at the Mavericks event center. We were able to enjoy our wedding and the people that joined us for the special day and a large part of that is due to the staff there.
