Cinematic Images is a husband and wife photography and videography team in Berlin, Connecticut. We shoot weddings and events in Connecticut, Rhode Island and Massachusetts.

With over 25 years of experience, our goal is to capture key moments and details of your wedding or event in a documentary-style manner that is unobtrusive, candid and professional. Cinematic Images is dedicated to providing high quality videos and photos of your wedding ceremony, pre-ceremony, and reception at a fair price. We are very flexible on our services, so you can choose to work with us on just photography or just videography or we can do both. We also have the amazing Magic Mirror Photobooth which we love to incorporate into any of your packages.

October wedding

You captured the best night of our lives and then gave us the ability to re-live it over and over again thanks to your amazing photographs and video! Cinematic Images took multiple hours to sit with us to plan our bug day and then dedicated many hours afterwards to provide us with the best memories we could ask for. Their attention to detail and ability to lead us through the day, set up the lighting to capture the perfect shots and made sure to capture every moment we didnt know we needed! This team is amazing and would hire them over and over again!

Hiring them was one of our BEST decisions!

Lydia and Criag made our photo/video planning so easy and not stressful. They are very responsive, respectful of your decisions and preferences, and they truly care about your wedding and capturing every single moment! They were also fun to work with, and we can't believe how perfect our pictures and videos are! They create a wedding video AND they give you all raw footage of the entire day! The best videographers in the industry!

Craig and Lydia are not only exceptional at their job, they are also amazing people. I got married over four years ago, and I had some disappointing RAW footage from my wedding that I had from a different vendor, and they seamlessly edited the footage as well as creating a beautiful highlight video for us. We now have something to reflect on that captures all the critical moments. In addition, they were also so personable, kind, and caring and made me feel right at home. They welcomed me as though I'd known them all of my life. I wish I had found them when I had my wedding and used them. They are incredibly talented, and I could not be any happier with the masterpiece they made for my husband and me. Look no further; Cinematic Images are the best there is!!!! Thank you both from the bottom of my heart!

Cinematic Images

Cinematic Images was recommended to me by a friend. I wasn’t sure if I was going to have my wedding day video taped but I’m glad I did. I reached out to them and they got back to me right away. Lydia and Craig met with me and showed me their work. I couldn’t have been more pleased. If I had know about them before I booked my photographer I would have had them photograph the wedding as well. Also, I got my video back a lot sooner than expected. I would recommend them for all special events.

Absolutely recommend!

Lydia and Craig were the best videographers we could have asked for for our wedding. They were so easy to communicate with and they made incredible videos of our wedding! We can't thank them enough for their responsiveness, attention to detail, and kindness. They are truly professional and we would highly recommend them.

Wedding videographer

I can’t say enough wonderful things about Lydia and Craig. In the beginning, I wasn’t sure I should have a videographer as it’s another expense upon an already expensive day, but not for one second do I regret this well made decision. I love my photos, but being able to relive the day with video is priceless. From the moment I booked with them, it was easy and seamless. We worked out the plan for the day of the wedding beforehand so there was no stress on the day of. They helped me figure out what I needed and even offered a payment plan so I could get everything I wanted! On my wedding day, Craig was so wonderful! He was professional and unobtrusive and while I didn’t really know what he was getting, the end result was more than I could have wished for! I can’t stop watching my videos! After the wedding, when the videos were sent to me, they worked with me on minor things until it was perfect and once again seamlessly with quick responses and helpful advice! If you are in search of a wedding videographer, I can only say I highly recommend them and know you will love them and more importantly love the end results!

Great people, great service!

Lydia and Craig were amazing to work with! We loved their documentary style and are so happy with the final result. Along the way, they were flexible and allowed us to take our time to make decisions about figuring out exactly what we wanted. Day of they arrived early and stayed in the background and sometimes I forgot they were even there! This allowed for them to get shots of everyone having fun and acting naturally. If you are looking for documentary style Cinematic Images is the way to go!

Grateful for Our Video

The Cinematic Team is amazing! We watch our wedding video EVERY YEAR on our anniversary, this being year 7. They still had my footage saved from 7 years ago and were able to email me a link to download the video for easy access from my computer. Our DVD came with a full video of the entire day and a summary video with highlights. The summary video was great to share with family and friends!!

Engagement Shoot

Right from the start, my fiancé and I clicked with Lydia and Craig. They were amazing to work with for our engagement shoot. They were well prepared and made us feel comfortable during the shoot. Lydia and Craig found so many cute spots in downtown Mystic for the shoot. They got us in the moment and made it feel natural. Our pictures came out beautifully, we couldn’t ask for better. We can’t wait to work with them again on our wedding day!!
