I am so happy that I bought my wedding dress at Cicada. I wanted an emerald green dress, and Cicada made it so easy! They patiently helped me pick the perfect shade of green and customized the dress design to be exactly what I wanted. It looked amazing! I recommended them to my best friend, and they are currently making her wedding dress too!

I took my dress here to do minor alterations and really enjoyed my experience. They were professional, kind and very talented. They communicated clearly what they recommended and made sure I was on the same page. Very efficient drop off and pick up with quick turn around time. Affordably priced. Highly recommend.

I had a great experience from my first appointment to the final fitting at Cicada. It was so special knowing that the dress was made just for me. I was also able to customize my dress with my own accessories. I was comfortable all night at my wedding and got many compliments on my dress.

Cicada is a fantastic boutique on 1st Avenue in Seattle. They're a small store with a selection of examples of their dress designs. They have a beautiful, comfortable, well-lit storefront, with attentive and capable people working there. I tried on three dresses and found one I could not live without. It is, bar none, the most comfortable and most beautiful dress I have ever owned. Simple, lovely, and completely unique. They fitted me, talked through design changes I was looking for and made me my dream wedding dress from scratch, even matching me to the perfect veil for my big day. And when they noticed a tiny tear in the veil on the day of my dress pickup, they took it away and gave me a fresh one. They are wonderfully accommodating, gifted, and professional.

I loved working with Cicada Bridal. First off, you start off with amazing dresses. Then, you find out they are all handmade in Seattle, with quality fabrics. Seriously, for that alone the price is unbelievable. It was easy to get ahold of them, and they were helpful with things like picking out jewelry, bridesmaids dresses, and even ties for the groomsmen. I loved my dress and loved even more that I was supporting an awesome local business!

The first time I went to Cicada was as the maid of honor for my best friend. From that trip alone I knew I would go back to Cicada should the day come that it was my turn. Well not too long after it was my turn and I got to experience the fitting for myself! I got to peruse the selection of dresses and pulled many beautiful gowns, but ultimately it was the one that the store associate pulled for me that was THE perfect dress. She knew what would look the most amazing and she was right! They were wonderfully attentive through the whole process from the first try on all the way through the fittings. I would recommend them for everything and anything!

I could not have been happier with Cicada in Seattle. I got the PERFECT wedding dress for me. When I first went in, I didn't have an idea about what I wanted for my dress. So, the gal who helped me (who gave me 1-on-1 service which was amazing) brought me tons of dresses and helped me find the style that I wanted. I then explained that I liked the neckline of one dress, the material of another, the length of another, the style of another, etc. - to which they said, Great, we'll make you a dress exactly like that. I got the EXACT dress that I wanted, which could have been really difficult since I didn't know what I wanted when I went in, and they made it especially for me. I truly had a one of a kind dress.

The fittings were great as well. I am from out of town and had to do my fittings when i was in town for the first one and then the second one I did 5 days before the wedding. They worked with me, around my schedule, and everything worked out perfectly.

The dress was absolutely stunning, it fit my body perfectly, and I could have not asked for anything better. The dress maker was incredible and I would recommend Cicada to ANYONE looking for a dress!

Amazing service and very attentive staff. I went to 9 bridal stores but once I arrived I this store I knew this was the place where I would get my dress. The designer is also very creative if you want something other than just a white bridal dress.

Wow. Just wow. My dress fit like a dream and was perfect, I never wanted to take it off! They are a little more pricey than most boutiques, however consider that they make the dress to fit you perfectly, so there are no alteration fees or cleaning costs. I also got my jewelry there and it was so unique and beautiful-and made locally!
