Chris is such a talented photographer. One of my biggest priorities for my wedding was photography. Chris is also creative and know how to creat the perfect photo. He has a variety of cameras and knows how to find the best lighting.
Chris took our engagement photos and we loved them. He helped us pick an amazing location. He is a photographer that knows how to capture the moment. We could not have been happier with the places he took us for our photo shoot. He has a lot of knowledge about where there are unique places for photos.
He also helped us with all the small details. He made sure that we were standing up straight our clothing was straightened and that we looked our best.
He is very organized and helpful. He is quick to respond to emails and make suggestions. He is easy to talk to and made us feel comfortable from the start. He is also funny and made us laugh constantly. We absolutely loved spend time with him.

Chris was an incredible photographer to work with! He was there with us for every part of the process; he answered any and all questions, gave suggestions, and talked everything through. From the moment we first met him, we were confident and excited to have our wedding photographed. The engagement session was a great time for all of us get to know each other and I highly recommend; it was then that we really saw how fun he was to work with. By the time our wedding arrived, we were completely comfortable with him and excited to see what our pictures would be. He went through our entire list of photos, but also worked with any changes and even made some great suggestions on the fly--one being taking a quick stop at a local carnival for some goofy, yet cute pictures. Chris was fantastic to work with! His work was the right mix of traditional and contemporary for us (I had been admiring at his shots of my sis' wedding for over 5 years). His love for what he does reflects in his photographs. He truly puts you at ease even during the traditional posed shots for mom and grandma. He'll even tie a tie in a pinch!

Chris and Jane did a fantastic job. The first time we talked with Chris on the phone he was attentive, understanding, and funny. Not only did we find a photographer who takes great photos, but we found someone we could relate to and feel comfortable with. We had a meeting prior to our wedding where we came up with a plan/list of photographs for the big day. They stuck to that list while making us laugh and reminding us to enjoy such a fast day. Selecting such a organized/got-it-together photography team left us with time to breathe, relax, and enjoy a day we will never forget. The most important part (the pictures) are beautiful and captured the best moments of our day. Chris really understood what was important to us and it shows. We will recommend him for years to come!

I was an out of town bride planning an intimate wedding at my parent's house and my (now) husband and I were looking for someone to capture not only the detail of the work my parents had put into the patio where the reception was planned, but also the joy and love of the day. Simply put - Chris 100% delivered.

Chris not only met the ladies at the salon, he also captured the guys during a short round of golf, and was there to see us all arrive at the house. As the bride I was grateful for his patience, and as the pictures prove, all of us loved his sense of humor. Chris has an amazing way of being there in the moment with you without it ever feeling like you are poised for a picture. Don't get me wrong, we have amazing family and friends pictures to round out the photo album, but during them all we were laughing and joking as normal and Chris just captured the moment.

On a final note I'll say that we were blessed with quite a few vendors being "Minnesota nice" but Chris (and Jane...if she's available when you book Chris that's fantastic!) went beyond that, and truly celebrated the day with us.

What can I say? Chris did a exquisite job of capturing our wedding day on film, quirky family members, unusual circumstances, extreme time constraints, outlandish requests (having the entire wedding, i.e., bride, groom, wedding party, family and every single guest in attendance in a group shot) and all! He was a pleasure to work with and is kind, sensitive, and creative. Our pictures are beautiful and one has become the "master piece" of our Living Room & a perfect poetic snapshot as we start our lives together - a bold 60"x40" black & white of the two of us, impossible here to fully describe, standing in front of the church with snow flakes falling and the biggest smiles on our faces. No one enters our house without stopping in their tracks to take a look - including the UPS man, Zero-Rez carpet cleaning dude, a furnace repairman and a plumber (I only mention because you wouldn't expect them to even notice something like that...I know, unfair stereotyping.) The bottom line, Chris was wonderful to work with and I will use him again for any future needs.

Chris was very extremely fun and easy to work with. He knew exactly what we wanted and even gave us ideas. During our engagement photo session, he stayed longer than anticipated and the photos turned out spectacular. When it came to our wedding day, he was professional yet funny and made our friends and family more at ease during the photo shoot. My husband and I are happy how everything turned out and we cannot wait to see the rest of our wedding photos! I highly recommend Chris to anyone. He knows what he's doing and takes fantastic shots and a great person to work with!
